      He hardly puts the time / effort in. That's fine if that's what he wants to do and so he is progressing slowly. You can achieve what he did in 2 years. Hell he is 5'6 so maybe even less?

      Like another anon suggested you look good to normies at year 2 and year 4 is when you start self miring a lot in the mirror because you have actual mass. At least that was for me.

      If you have been lifting 7 years with 4 off then you have been lifting 3 years. You should look decent at 3 years unless you have body dysmorphia or haven't varied your training plan.

      This is me at around the 7 year mark. Training inconsistently like yourself. 31 year old, 5'9, natty, gym pump. I'm 3 years on from then and look pretty much the same but that's more frick-around-itis for you. I have a few lagging muscles but I think in terms of mass I am at 80% of my natty limit.

      He forgot to lift. I'm not natty anymore, but when I was natty, I was benching over 3 plates and deadlifting over 5 after 5 years of lifting. I hit a 375 bench, 5plate squat and a 550 deadlift at 205 lbs, while still natural.

        Maybe, i have been lifting for around 4 months and jumped from 115 lb 11 percent body fat to 145 lb 19 percent bodyfat so maybe 10-15 lb? I'm also 5'7 so ive basically done what this guy has done in 5 years in 4 months. Clearly he isnt eating enough or training right

      He gained 20lb of muscle at most out of the 37lb gained and that’s being generous. So after 2 years he got around 20lb. This one is 140-165 after 5 years. Also roughly 20lb but probably more muscle. It’s over for us manletbros, I got down to at least 15% and I went from 130-130 after about 10 years and I look much better but honestly if you’re in skinnyfat hell its impossible to leave. There’s guys that get swole AF too but they’re an outlier.
      Realistically most guys won’t make it (without roids).

          Also I'm not new to lifting, this is me returning to the gym after a long period, 3 years. I had 4 years in the past, and I didn't save a "before" picture from 4 months ago, but I was a fat slob around 25% bf. And compared to that now I look amazing, btw there is no pump in that picture, this is how my body looks like the day after and everyone loves it, my coworkers, my gf is worried I'll get too big, lol, and the most important, I like it.

            I don't know bro, I feel good, sometimes I do take an extra day or two if my body is still sore. I usually just pay attention how my body feels and if it s ok it s ok, if not I don t go.                 Dude? Have you seen how 10-15% look like? Even I am unsure if I'm somewhere near that and my body is and was way more defined than yours. Looking at your arms, I dont believe you that you don't feel any fat. Defined arms (even with few muscles) look completely different. Same for your stomach. If you don't have much fat there you can actually see some muscles, what I see (in before and afters) is just fat.

                Question: When do you use the Body-Fat-Meter? If you do it after any activity (and not with a completely cold body) then this is the issue why you get wrong results.

    I don't know why but my quads exploded at 3rd or 4th month and since they haven't grow that much. My arms are totally the opposite, didn't see any major change since the 5th month, i guess my arms genetics are fricked up.

          I also struggle with gyno. It’s much much better since I started lifting, but hasn’t gone away entirely. I refuse to take my dieting to the extreme, I’ve never wanted to be ultra-low fat. But where I’m at, I’m completely comfortable with my puffy nipples. They hardly look bad at all with filled in pecs.

        it's a great transformation nonetheless, consider surgery to get rid of that shit while you're young and your skin has some elasticity

        i'm a newbie so i went for body recomp, an small caloric deficit with high protein intake and training 5x per week ppl

        lose a lot of fat and gain a bunch of muscle at the same time

    I did this in under a year maybe 11 months, obviously the lighting is really good and im low BF which makes muscle look more "ripped" but not to toot my own horn, how is everyone taking 3 years to accomplish these?

      you look good in all three pics. I don't see much "progress" though. left looks better than middle. best angle and pose. right is hard to judge due to the extreme lighting.
