7. Coffee and energy drinks dont give me energy

Are there any over the counter things that help with this or foods or things i can do right now to get energy or should I just try napping

      I did wim hof breathing for the first time the other day and was surprised I could hold my breath that long pretty easily. I did end up getting really sleepy about an hour later and ended up going back to bed. Any anon tips for getting used to cold showers?

      I couldn’t do it fully. I almost fainted. For cold showers I just forced myself to do it. I’m good at forcing myself to do a lot of things except for things that require intense physical or mental activity when I’m low energy. Cold showers are very simple to do you just need to be prepared to freeze for a minute

        how do you know you almost fainted? also how many rounds did you do and how many warm up breaths did you do before doing the exhale and hold?
        I would usually do 3 rounds and hold my breath for like 2 minutes, upwards to 3 minutes with no air.
        Maybe you weren't going to faint but you got scared because you had a new sensation.

          I almost fainted during the breath hold after the first set of rapid breaths. My head got dizzy, everything started spinning. My heart was pounding. My vision was “blacking out”. I need to put my hand on my counter and breathe heavily.

        The thing is I didn't have a very hard time doing cold plunge the first time, and it was easy to get to a minute in the cold plunge after a cycle or two. But cold showers are worse for some reason. Maybe because the air around it is warm, or because it's hitting your body instead of enveloping it, idk. I wanted to try cold showers to increase dopamine baseline because I think I have ADHD but I don't want diagnosis or meds

          I started mine at medium temperature and lowered it over the course of a few minutes. I know what you mean. When water hits dry skin it can be startling and it’s worse when the temperature difference is high

    What are you eating? Are you getting all your micros and macros?
    For me, eating lots of carbs fricks me up, especially things like cereal, store bread, and rice though potatoes, bread, and fruit are fine.
    If anything it's just something you've got to push through.
