Night pissing killing my gains

5-6 hours into sleep and I wake up to a massive pisshorn. I do the business then cant go back to sleep as the brightness wakes me up. This is for sure fricking up my gains. Any tips besides not drinking past dinner?

    See a doctor about your prostate to begin with, finger in pooper.
    Also, what brightness? Bathroom lights? If so, do it in the dark or get a nightlight that wont totally ruin your rhythm.

        Then get blackout curtains in all windows or garbage bags and tape. Just seal off any excess light in your bedroom and on the way to the bathroom.
        Some people are sensitive and they need total darkness or their circadian rhythm just flips the frick out at first bit of sunlight (as its supposed to).

    There are many pitential causes:

    1) Insulin resistance causing water retention which is released at night

    2) Bad sleep/sleep apnea causing your body to not fully sleep and shut down urine production

    3) Sometimes the body uses urine to remove histamine so if you are eating foods you have even mild allergies too this could cause excess urine

    4) Maybe you just drink too much

    For me it was a combination of 1 2 3, fixing my insulin problem and cutting out spicy foods fricking my gut solved the issue completely

    Also don't turn on the light, just piss in the sink or shower or sit down to piss

        Basically I don't eat high carb dinners, and I 16/8, over time losing some weight and getting my body back into normal condition

      I don't even think this is a problem. Prior to industrial lighting people naturally adopted biphasic sleep where they'd sleep for ~4 hours wake up, briefly do some shit and then go back to sleep. When it's winter and it's dark for like 12 hours and you don't have candles that meant people would just kind of lie around or frick or whatever.

      So yeah I wouldn't worry about peeing, I'd figure out a way to not get blasted with light while peeing. A motion and dark activated night light near the toilet would work well, there are battery powered ones and since they'd only turn on when you pee they'd last for months.

      I have sealed off my room completely, but always see morning sun on the way to the bathroom. Gonna try sleep mask walking to the bathroom though.

        yeah just maybe half a cup. The salt causes your body to retain water overnight so urine doesn't fill up your bladder so quickly. Obviously take a piss right before bed to empty bladder.

    how much did you drink before sleep? i drink 2 cups and i only piss once i fully woke up (say around 8 hours of sleep), if you don't drink that much and wake up to piss at the middle of the night then get checked for beetus

    Don't eat or drink close to bedtime. That's it.
    I also woke up in the middle pissing a litre, bit I have no problem falling asleep right away. I have a habit of drinking a lot of water right before I sleep, idk I just feel thirsty even after drinking a lot after dinner. I feek like your body should be properly hydrated during sleep, since that's when it's recovering.

    Other than the obvious things other anons already mentioned, the most important of which is checking your blood glucose levels for nascent beetus or pre-beetus, are you drinking sparkling water? I shit you not that I noticed recently that I can drink sparkling water like a MOTHERFRICKER and never feel sated. The same amount of still water will satisfy me completely. Then I have to piss it all out, ofc.

    Anybody else noticed that? Have we been psyopped with bubbly water? Is the supranormal stimuli of the bubbles tricking our satiaty signalling somehow?

    Not even joking theres this massage you do before bed on your last pee its where you push your taint area between your balls and butthole and massage it, it straightens ureatha and empties your pisser old dudes do it and it actually makes me pee less now Ive started doing it

    I've trained myself not to get woken up by needing to piss during the night. I drink a lot of water in the evening.
