no bullshit motivation

how do you stay motivated without engaging in pathetic sigmamale mgtow bullshit or simpering drivel like picrel

half of the motivational shit i see is the text equivalent of a jaeger bomb douche trying to sell a freshman a monthly subscription for low carb ice cream and the other half is a bluehair crying butterfly tears about self betterment. there has to be a middle ground.
do you ever get amped by saying just like, 'if i lift these and do some cardio my arms will get bigger and i can order a milkshake with my burger. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH'

The people who write this kind of virtue signalling bullshit are the same people who will call your boss up and demand you be fired because you made a politically incorrect joke

I stay motivated because if I stop I lose my gains. I cannot lose my gains after working this hard.

People who write shit like this are the biggest bureaucratic narcs and buttholes that would step over a struggling person if no one else was watching. Performative empathy is a gay tell-tale sign of narcissists in the workplace.

I call my coworkers slurs and buy them muffins. I like to keep them on edge that way.

    >do you ever get amped by saying just like, 'if i lift these and do some cardio my arms will get bigger and i can order a milkshake with my burger. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH'
Absolutely. I didn’t start lifting for some pretentious idealism, I started lifting so I could have big arms and eat more food. Reminding myself of this fact is very motivating.

    I don't, I stay disciplined.
If you have to puff yourself up with quotes, slogans and bumper stickers you're not really learning self discipline. You're learning to coast on sentimentalism which is as fickle as your girly emotions.

Its not about being fit, its about the fact that you want to be fit. If you cant get yourself to do the thing that you want to do, you are a weakling. This is not a fight to look good, this is a fight for our lives. Living like a weakling is not real living.

It's mostly just "Don't be a b***h". It's so easy to complain about the slightest bit of discomfort and it's so embarrassing. Why aren't you doing this and that? It's because you don't want to, not because you can't do it. That's why we always "surprise" ourselves when we decide to do it anyway and find that it was fricking easy.

    nobody can save you but
    yourself.
you will be put again and again
    into nearly impossible
    situations.
they will attempt again and again
    through subterfuge, guise and
    force
to make you submit, quit and/or die quietly
    inside.

    nobody can save you but
    yourself
and it will be easy enough to fail
    so very easily
    but don’t, don’t, don’t.
    just watch them.
    listen to them.
do you want to be like that?
    a faceless, mindless, heartless
    being?
    do you want to experience
    death before death?

    nobody can save you but
    yourself
    and you’re worth saving.
it’s a war not easily won
but if anything is worth winning then
    this is it.

    think about it.
    think about saving your self.

just make what you need to do a habit, no philosophy bullshit. Lifting is like a metronome to me, I need it to have a grasp on time and it's also great fun, no need to be motivated.
