I'm trying to get fit but I'm a lanklet skeleton. I've successfully gained 7 lbs over 2 months and I'm finally not anemic cuz of it. How do you guys stay at a caloric surplus all the time? (inb4 "just drink soda all day lol" I said no fatties) everytime I consistently eat at a caloric surplus I just feel uncomfortably full and getting any sort of food down is hard.
Talking to normies or fat people they just tell me to drink soda (like they do) but then go on to say "its just metabolism"

I struggle with weight gain too. Cooking food you're excited to eat makes all the difference. In addition, exercising followed by eating is helpful for working up an appetite. Eating more will be uncomfortable. A pound of muscle a month is a healthy gain rate.

This, nuts are king. Stay away from brazil nuts though as you're only supposed to eat one or two per day. I didn't know this and ended up being sick everywhere.
There is this shit I use that's kind of like a laxative. It's called Oxy-powder and it is horrific. Liquifies everything and gets all the compacted shit out then you just need to eat a lot of probiotics. More useful for fatties who have pounds of shit stuck in them though.

Listen anon. I am built like you, used to be around 120lbs at 6'1. Now I'm 180lbs and moderately fat but also gained lots of muscle (relative to starting point). Don't think too hard, eat and lift. You will most likely have to forcefeed a bit and eat beyond discomfort. Too much sugar might frick with your body, for me blood sugar values got a bit fricked up so I focused on very fatty foods. If you cook for yourself, use big amounts of butter and oil, if you drink milk always use full fat. Don't shy away from fast food either.
The image you posted is attainable and a good goal to strive towards, but I'm sure you can go even further if you desire. Good luck

your stomach isnt used to the amount of food. you could slowly up the calories instead of going on a full surplus after eating frickall for years. start at something you can handle and then add 50-100 cals a week(or more often if you feel you can). or you could add some higher fat foods like peanutbutter, fatty fish, whole fat dairy. basically the high fat version of anything youd like since its higher cals for less volume. then snack a bunch on nuts and drink your milk

As a 5'6 bloke that went to 50kg to 65kg within a year, its not as easy to just eat. The work comes before the appetite. I tried gaining weight by just eatting junk food but it just doesnt work. Start; going for runs, push ups, leg raises, running, etc, anything you can do at home. You will feel tired the first week or two. Your body will feel run down BUT you will get the appetite and this will be a great diet and physical routine foundation.
If youre eatting well, which it sounds like you are, this will have an instant positive result because any muscle you put on as skeleton is defined af by default.
Another tip is slipping protein shakes in your diet. I started with just potein and water but now I add things like oats, bananas, peanut, honey, too add calories and other shit easily to your diet.
I dont calorie count or any of that bullshit, I just TRY to eat food as much as possible. I hate eatting and cooking but watching numbers go up is dope.
Hope this is helpful, theres not a lot of advice or info for skinny blokes online which is annoying.

Give it a shot if you are so desperate gaining weight

Milk is great. Whey is pricey but makes it better. Sometimes for variety I add frozen orange, pineapple, or grapefruit juice and under-reconstitute it then add to milk. If not drinking milk I try to drink grapefruit juice. Very important to keep consumption of water by itself to the bare minimum each day. Heavy cream is like cheat codes to milk, whey shakes, or milk and fruit juice. 100% cocoa powder tastes good and can add some calories if you add a tablespoon of it to milk.
Other than that it's just dealing with pain constantly and getting good at holding food down. Get three pillows for sleeping upright, when you are truly full food is constantly coming up while laying flat. Fattier cuts of meat obviously are better. Every meal should have macaroni and cheese(richest recipe you have, I like milk and sodium citrate to make the sauce) or potatoes as a side. Rice works too depending on how much you like it, seems to be too filling for me.
add olive oil/butter to anything you drink or eat. a tablespoon is 120 calories, 3 times a day is 360 calories. if 360 doesnt tip the scale kys please.
