No matter how long I cut or how big a deficit I do I cannot get visible abs and get out of skinny fat despite having a prominent forearm and bicep veins.

I got my test levels checked and they came in just over 400. Am I going to have to roid to make actual gains?

    For the millionth time, you are just fatter than you think. If you are skinnyfat after cutting, you need to continue cutting. It's literally that simple. If you go from 28% bodyfat to 22% bodyufat you are still fat. If you go fthen from 22% to 18% you can still be skinnyfat. And if you don't have a lot of muscles you won't look big or impressive until like 12% bodyfat.

    Cut more.

    Train your abs, "abs are made in the kitchen" is cope made by powerlifters, i had this exact same problem and just decided to train abs 3x times a week and got them visibly at 2 months even when I was bulking

        Mostly leg raises and weighted planks, i add 1 or 2 reps each time to leg raises and do a harder variation once I hit 3x12, then I do +5 seconds with planks and put some weight once I get to 1 min

        Sometimes I would do ab wheels

    Although vascularity is mainly due to being lean, it's also due to body fat distribution (genetic). Belly fat is the last to go so as others have said, just keep cutting anon. Godspeed

    Abs are the last place to go. You have a surprising amount of fat on your ass and inner thighs.
