You know what helps all the other muscles grow faster and bigger than any type of negligible and unproven squat upper body gains? Just doing more upper body work.
Not doing legs means an unbalanced physique. And unbalanced physique means both not living up to your potential or treating yourself well but also in potential threats and shortcomings should someone get aggressive with you.

Legs are not necessary. If you do them at all it should be rarely. They do not need to be that developed to look good. It takes an enormous amount of time and effort to keep up big legs and literally NO ONE outside of gays on the internet give a shit at all what your legs look like. Once every week or two is all that's necessary to not have twigs down there. If you're squatting over 315 pounds you should reevaluate your life and focus your limited time and energy on the parts of you people actually notice.

Leg aesthetic are important, though that does not mean big legs = aesthetic.
If you have wide hips, having thick legs will benefit you, if you have a narrow waist and hips, thick legs will make you look like a clown.
mike Tyson is an example of someone who benefits from thick legs (not just as a boxer) aesthetically because he has wide hips. (He also has wide shoulders that make de-emphasises how wide his his actually are, and also his legs as well)
Another factor is just femur length. If you have longer femurs, bulking them up too much will be pretty much impossible, you won't be able to over train them, you're not at risk at overdeveloping them. Arnold is an example of this, he said his legs developed slower and he would have to focus them to compensate. (although I do think huge legs whould have taken away his physique, that's not the point, you won't be able to grow them anyway if you have long legs. Arnold couldn't, with better genetics than you and steroids) compare that to alpha destiny, or pic rel, the big quads take away from the upper body and v taper_
Also, If you should avoid growing your legs, your quads is what contributes to the overly big legs. If you want to avoid too big legs, I would still focus on glutes and hamstrings. I would low bar squat and deadlift, that's it for your legs, and I would do them at lower volumes then you would otherwise.
