        I did no pillow for 2 months. It was amazing at first. After a while your stomach settles into the routine and acid comes into your throat while you sleep, which is very painful to wake up to. It’s common sense better to have a pillow while sleeping - thats why its been a thing for centuries upon centuries

      It is certainly not. After about 2 months of nopillow my posture was noticeably better, I woke up well rested, was more alert during the day and had a way easier time concentrating. You get used to sleeping without a pillow really fast as well, a couple of nights is all it takes.

                crooked back is arguably easier to fix. Like after 7h of harmful posture sleep you can still do some yoga/stretching, for the spine. Much harder to unfrick your airways.

                Also it ain't black and white. Sleeping on your back doesn't guarantee snoring/sleep apnea and sleeping on your side doesn't guarantee spine issues.

    You're missing 2+ hours of being outdoors, especially early in the day to anchor your sleep cycle. This goes hand in hand with another intention you should have: don't sit on your ass all day. Your brain did not develop in an environment where any tasks did not involve physical activity, at least ambulation.

    Also, you should probably interact with other human beings. Since you seem like an autist I'll give you a rough goal of average 1 hour face-to-face interactions daily, while avoiding 2 or more days in a row not seeing people. This does not include pursuing sexual relationships.

    My brain only allows me 7 hours tops before waking me up and I can't fall back to sleep. Typically 6 to 7 hours before I'm wide awake.
    The only way for me to get 8 hours is have a nap in the afternoon, but I don't know if this is as beneficial as sleeping non stop for 8 hours and staying awake all day.
    I feel like having a nap kinda screws up the circadian rhythm.

      Why is it that whenever I start up meditation and consistently practice if daily, I start gradually feeling constant mild euphoria and contentment throughout the day and have objectively better sleep. These good feelings start to cause me to eventually become complacent with meditating because I feel like I don't need it and can start skipping days, etc, then after a few months I kinda generally feel miserable again and I realize that I haven't meditated for a long while.
      Meditation absolutely does something to the mind, at least for me. I feel like it strengthens my mind against negative emotions and events in my life.

          The basics of meditation is just to be aware of the present moment without judgement.
          The general easiest way to do this is to close your eyes and focus on your breathing in and out of your body and your body sensations.
          What will happen is that during this practice your mind will naturally want to wander and you will get lost in some thoughts and daydreams. Then you will realize this and then go back to focusing on your breathing again, letting go of the thought.
          Each time this refocusing happens its like you are doing a mind rep in your meditation set.
          Each rep slowly strengthens the mind against the impact of random bullshit negative thoughts.
          This will carry over into your normal life as your brain strengthens and is better able to automatically shut down negative thoughts, or to put less weight on them, distancing your true self away from your thoughts which are not really the true you. They are just thoughts that your dumb brain conjures up randomly for no reason.
          It's these negative and useless thoughts that we have throughout the day, even subconsciously, that cause us to feel negative emotions and lead to depression and anxiety. They also wear us down physically and increase stress hormones like cortisol, and frick with our sleep.
          Getting good at meditation helps reduce these thoughts and their impact on us, so that your true contented and euphoric self which is at your core, can emerge to the surface.

        Yeah - i think most people will get burnt out. Plus the reality is that a pretty shitty lifestyle will still get you to 75 years old more or less alright and an autistic flawless one will maybe get that to 85. It's not nothing but it's not necessarily worth while either.

        Plus as said I did it all and then got hard rekt by a chronic illness at 24, which has left me at 30 with lots of health measures worse than the mean standard for 70+ year olds. What you can do as an individual is completely trivial in the face of what your body has planned anyway.
