noob question

How do I know I am not squatting heavy enough to frick up my back?

After a month, I can squat 135 lbs. Not much, but that's almost my body weight at 5'5".

    if your form is breaking down and you get back strains. lower the RPE if you need to. Don't train to failure or you'll get snapped up

          Some of you fricking guys clearly need a reality check. Not everybody wants to be some bloated strong fat roided up monster. Those guys all die in their 30s to 50s from torn aortas from steroid abuse. Their cardio sucks. Women don't find them attractive. Their dicks don't work. They develop gyno. They're just pounding as much junk food as possible and getting as big as they can.

          Literally had a dude at my gym place 1st in a powerlifting competition. If you didn't meet him in a gym, you wouldn't even know he lifts. If he tried to kick your ass, anyone with any amount of training would beat him. He just looks like a fat guy.

          It's stupid. Jeff Cavalier is an actual shredded disciplined athlete who actually looks at double-blind studies, does deep dives into research, and clearly is healthier than 99% of the people on the planet.

    Heavenly Trips -- I fricked up my back squatting.

    It wasn't that bad and it was just a strain on muscles. Honestly I'm finding a lot of the most shredded guys in the gym don't actually squat. They do hip thrusts / lunges / reverse-curl-ups / other stuff that doesn't put a ton of stress on the spine.

    You can squat if you want, but I literally recorded my form and would do bodyweight squats to warm up every time. I'd squat twice a week. To this day, I don't know what was wrong with my form.

    I've never watched a squat instructional video, i squat with a wide stance, toes facing outwards and ATG, is this good or am I gonna die?
    I'm a DYEL so I can only squat 1pl8 for 12 reps
