Not at all. You're more energised when you're moderately hungry or approaching hunger than you are in a fed state i.e "rest and digest".
I sure as hell don't feel energized if I don't eat anything and do a remotely physical workout for longer than 30 minutes. I genuinely start to feel less and less energetic to the point where I don't continue my workout as it's useless without progress.

Say you eat lunch at 12pm, then you workout at 6:30pm having eaten nothing else. There's no way you should feel weaker or less physically capable having not eaten anything else after lunch.

Breakfast: 6 eggs with some cheese, sweet potatoes, spinach, small amount some bacon or other protein
Pre lunch: yogurt, kiwi, strawberry
Lunch: whey/creatine/beta alanine shake. 4 hours before gym. I prefer to train faded but it doesn’t work that way when you’re a wage cuck.
Dinner: chicken breast, steamed broccoli with some melted butter/salt/pepper/garlic
Desert: one square of very dark chocolate.
Shitload of water all day (2-3 liters) and up to 3-4 fluid cups of coffee
This is a cut day, and amounts to roughly 1600 cals, 24g carb, 160g protein, and 85-95g fat
