>Raw 80/20 beef: 1200kcal per pound >Cooked 80/20 beef, fat drained: 640kcal per pound
For 6 pound you're only looking at 4k at most. That doesn't look like much more than 2k cals of cheese and buns.
I mean 6lbs worth of burger fat dripping is like 2 liters. So yeah they definitely drained that fat. Again, that bacon is crisped. A slice of crisped fat drained bacon is 30-50kcal so 40 is 1200kcal-2000kcal. The cheese is more garnish than anything there, no way it's more than 500kcal.
In any case, even if it is more than 6000 calories, it's not 20,000 as suggested by OP. No way it's even half that. Still obviously not a single day's meal by any stretch, but you eat that over 3 days and you're a happy guy.
It is. Its a place known for the stupidly high calorie burgers.
Their milkshakes have sticks of butter in them.
Its all fully intentional btw, IRC it was founded by someone who used to work in the fitness industry who was sick of seeing his clients just abandon their diets and go back to eating like shit. So he was like "frick it" and founded this place. I think people have died there actually.
Cooking potatoes in lard dates back to colonial times. It's unironically probably healthier than whatever garbage oil is used in McDonald's, for example.
But you're probably right. I just wanted to point out that this is an intentionally unhealthy place to eat. And also if you don't finish your food the waitresses get to slap you with a paddle 3 times.
>And also if you don't finish your food the waitresses get to slap you with a paddle 3 times.
Time to go and eat 1 bite >Nooo, I can't eat more I swear, spanking time :3
It was a heart surgeon sick of dealing with fatties IIRC. based and reasonable prices and nothing overtly toxic, just calorically dense food. Good for a rare indulgence if you're in the area.

Wait nvm, I've been had. The Founder, Jon Basso, is neither a fitness instructor or a doctor, just some guy. He does refer to him self as a "non-AMA recognized physician and surgeon" and does use M.D. as his title which is what deceived me.
Still sounds like a pretty good place to pig out if you're even in that cesspit of degeneracy of Vegas.
That's probably the only good thing about that place then. Every single other restaurant in the world uses garbage rancid seed oils because it's cheaper, while in an attempt to be "unhealtheir" these guys use lard (which is 60% MUFA, less saturated fat than butter, ghee or coconut oil). Funny
Wrong board
I’ve been here and it’s a sterile, weird israeli tourist trap.
Someone say israelite?
saved
Disgusting.
That's 20k calories? Doesn't look like it
>10 days worth of cal in single meal
Do burgers really ?
>do burgers really?
No moron, we don’t
I mean, some of us do. Yes.
No way that's 20k cal. Maybe 6k at worst.
There's 6kcal in the beef patties alone if the weight is correct

Depends on your source, also does it look like they drain any fat from that monstrosity?
Also 6kcal of cheese and 2kcal of bacon

Oh also their fries are cooked in lard.

Maccas fries are cooked in Canola if I recall.

No fricking way that's 20K calories.
I'd fricking destroy that thing in an hour. Need some fries and a 44 Oz coke with it too to wash it down. Frick I love my country
This kind of thing really reminds me of why gluttony is a sin. It's nothing but a disgusting waste.
