my brother has literally believe in all these meme life hack shit and it makes him look so unnecessarily stupid.
his current new meme he is trying is this sleep one where he takes naps throughout the day instead of just sleeping at night like a normal person.
Results are that he is sleeping all day every day.
Previous one before this was no shower. This resulted in him being greasy and smelly as frick.

if you don't consume dairy and have a pretty clean diet you can get away with not showering but the sleep schedule shit is a huge meme

Oh he did do some weird diet meme routine instead of just working out while tracking his calories. Instead he wanted to do this thing where he ate mostly 1 thing but I forgot what it was.
He was still frickin greasy and smelly as frick though. He lost a lot of weight which is to be expected eating as little as he did but the meme he chose to do this was so stupid.
I dont know what other meme is doing now but his face doesn't look normal at the moment. He is very pale all the time, almost like he has makeup on or something

          >he ate mostly 1 thing but I forgot what it was
Was it bananas? I knew this b***h who went on an all banana diet. Her rational was that human had evolved from monkeys and monkeys can survive off bananas (I don’t even think that’s true). Anyway her moronic diet made her fat and she went crazy (or I guess I should say that she went bananas).

it was not bananas but I dont think it really makes a difference what it is. eating only 1 thing is crazy in general

Honestly, there is a little bit of truth to various sleep patterns having some advantages. Personally, if I have the luxury to chose I will always go monophasic ~8hrs.
But I experimented with biphasic and even tri-phasic sleep. Admittedly, out of necessity. And never longer than about 3 months.
    Takeaways:
Tri-phasic sleep is a massive waste of time. I had to run 3-4-4 to be even remotely functional. Something about it just didn't click with me.
Bi-phasic sleep actually allowed me to do some fun and timesaving stuff. I basically set up a 36hrs "day" and slept twice for 4-5 hours. Saved me 2-4hrs of sleep and gave me relatively undisturbed, long periods of productivity. There was a relatively long adaptation phase where I felt like absolute trash, but it worked out well soon enough.
Problem was the insomnia that crept in. To this day no one believes me that I stayed awake for 7 days straight and was genuinely unable to fall asleep. Weirdest thing is, that until about day 5, my cognitive abilities did not decrease at all.
That said, the sleep schedule you posted would unironically kill me and you in about a week.

      >I stayed awake for 7 days straight and was genuinely unable to fall asleep
Same thing happened to me once when I had a weird sleep schedule for a couple of weeks. Trying to go back to regular sleep schedule was difficult and I couldnt fall asleep for a few days. Not as long as 7 days but I know what you talking about

Do you think intentional sleep deprivation can be a valid suicide method? I am NOT a suicidal gay, just wonder if it could induce fatal damage.

No it'd just cripple you and make you hate life more. Longest study was like 15 days of no sleep and he didn't die just got very angry

Honestly, it depends how exactly you achieve sleep deprivation. There is a point where you basically fall into a coma / fall asleep.
In my shorter periods without sleep (3 days hiking for example) I managed to unironically fall asleep while standing and leaning against a tree, even though I tried my absolute best to stay awake.
If you were to build some kind of device that would jolt you awake the moment you start drifting towards sleep, you could probably have a nice day.
Though the process would be incredibly uncomfy.

I assume this method would be equivalent to trying to bleed out to death by paper cuts

Rats have different sleep patterns, but a study was done when they were deprived sleep and they died within a month or so. It definitely wouldn't be pleasant enough to justify it though, the rats were in complete misery.

A friend of mine tried the Übermensch. Two hours awake, 20 minutes nap. Repeat.
Months later he was still just semi functional and gave up.
There's a bunch of blogs out there of people trying it too. Years worth of excuses why they're not fully adapted yet, until they eventually give up or stop posting.
Biphasic sleep seems to work. Sleep 4-6 hours, be awake for a while, then sleep another 2-4 hours.
Three or more phases are a meme. The idea is that you go straight to deep sleep, so you get to skip the lighter phases where "nothing happens". The problem is that these phases are also important.
Think of it as caring for your car by only doing engine maintenance and fluids replacement. Your car is going to keep moving for a long time, but sooner or later it's going to be fricking filthy. Non-critical tasks are still important.

all these meme sleep "routines" are the bare minimum needed for survival, not performance nor health
soldiers on the battlefield do them, but you shouldn't

if you want to reduce your slepe time read this
    http://library.lol/main/94949705DEFEC0606612BEDC998255B4
with each 10 second CP increase your nightly sleep needs should go down by about 1 hour naturally (without you needing to force anything (except the breath retraining itself ofc))
