Me. I mean I was always in shape but never lifted hard until mid 20s. It was nice because I was always kind of a nerd in college and I had money and a body at 25 and women were all over me.

I will say lots of 18 year old women and women under 20 worked out more so I couldn’t even talk to them in the gym because they were so retarded and immature. Wanted to blow my brains out speaking to any woman under 23. Just no concept of reality

Just turned 28, I’m a hard gainer and I finally started taking lifting seriously and I as about to put on nearly 20lbs of muscle on at 5’10.

I’m currently in my 3rd year of uni and I get mistakened as being a lot younger by the 20-21 year old girls in my class, surprisingly they don’t get turned off by that fact that I’m nearly 10 years older than them. Some women really are just attracted to older men

Being fit and conventionally attractive helps you with people throughout your life. interacting with a fit person is generally more desirable in almost every social circumstance.
Working for someone? People like to control power, they will gain more prestige to be seen with you behind them. Hopefully they value you more for it.
Someone working for you? People look up to their leaders in every way, not just the ways in which they officially are under your jurisdiction.
Lovers? Everyone seeks someone physically fit naturally, but additionally wants to be seen with someone fit and valuable. They get a social boost no matter where they stand in society.
Want to live on the edge? You look like you can handle yourself, and will fit in better.
Want to be a good boy? Your looks will dispel any notion that you do so out of weakness.
It will only retract from your interactions with the jealous and vain, and that's a good thing in my book.

Nothing really material except the one off "I'm bigger than that dude" thought. I think girls enjoy hugging more, I feel bigger relative to them if that makes sense 160->180 for reference. I eat more meat now and am more conscientious of calories/macros

        >all these coping 25+ oldfags
If you're on IST past the age of 25, 27 at the latest, there is a 80% chance you are single, making nowhere near 6 figures, and if we compared you with the biggest loser from your high school you'd be right on par.
        >b-but I'm the exception
Sure, maybe 5% of you in the 25+ range have kids, a nice house, a satisfying career, a loving wife, etc but your ass is the MAJOR exception.

WFH, ~120K, between 27 and 30, own a place, LTR, dog. Here not really often but I'll go through phases where I read/reply regularly for a week or 2 but then leave for months. Mainly fit, biz, pol though they're all kinda shit. hence the leaving for months before I forget about that. fit's best thing is the QTDDTOT imo cause you can get that weird question that you cant find answered on google. again, lots of shit though

I was always going to the gym since highschool but i was never serious about it and my diet was shit most of my life. I was skinny fat with decent lifts until 25. The past 3 years Iv really just gotten serious about lifting. Right now I’m doing 50 minutes of cardio plus my bro split almost every day.
    stats atm are: 5’10, 161Lb, 14% BF (1,2,3,4)
I look pretty awesome from where I was at prior (184, 22% BF). My confidence is quite high now. Just last week I was at the club and had multiple girls approach me which is always fun. I feel like I could beat the shit out of almost anyone I see on in my daily life which makes me comfortable in everything i do. Shit that would have shook me a few years ago slide off like butter. Had some guy really get in my face the other week cause he liked the girl i was with or something gay (he doesn’t know her so it was cringe). Didn’t bother me one bit cause I just knew nothing would happen to me. Didn’t even have an outburst back. Just let him know he was making a mistake and should try to have fun. Worked out well.

I was always fit but I got into lifting again when I was 32, which was 3 years ago. I guess I am getting more respect from everyone which is a really nice feeling. I am a lot more comfortable around people because of it, too. Like when I was on the skinnier side I felt like I wasn't being taken seriously and people gave me the impression that they thought I was somehow beneath them. It was a bit like that feeling you get when you just became an adult but people still treated you like a kid. Now I go anywhere and feel like I am at least on eye-level with everyone around me and get treated like that, too. As for lifting and muscle building, I've not really had any major trouble getting bigger compared to 10 years ago but I might carry a tiny bit more fat. I still get sixpack lean in the summer though.

    >Older
    >24
Good god, am I an old man now? I'm not exactly buff but I was pear mode in college and got shredded as fuck between 23-24. Soon I'll be 25 and I'm walking around as fight club brad pitt mode all year long. Most fit guys can probably snap me in half but my abs are awesome and women love it. I'm kind of retarded so if I'm fucking up a conversation I just show a shirtless selfie or if I'm in person I get them to feel my abs through my clothes and I get a second chance every single time. It fixed some problems for sure, but there are some mentality and social issues that are unrelated to fitness that you need to work on separately. I know we all like to think that we can improve our lives in every aspect, but we can only improve in so many ways. I feel once you get to your mid twenties you are who you are. Choices have been made and the damage done. I didn't experience young love or have a casual sex phase. I hate most of my friends and have all but cut them from my life. Fitness will not help you improve socially and will not make up for experiences you missed when you were younger. The fact is the world has changed, the way we socialise has changed drastically over the last few years, and it is something that some people simply cannot do. I am great in person, but I cannot navigate any of this social media shit. Being fit will not help you with that. Even on a dating app having a great body means fuck all if you haven't got friends to go to nice places and take good photos of you. What fitness does help you with is back and muscular pain if you do it right.

That's funny because I feel like I only really "grew up" when I was around 25. I've only been improooving since, it's been a mindset change. I don't think it's ever too late to change as a person, as long as you refuse go lay down and die.

Most older people remember their mid 20s as the middle of their life due to how the human brain perceives time, this manifest in culture as your 20s being the "fun" years of your life and the most importance being placed on them.
Younger people have yet to comprehend that being 19 years old is not some accomplishment, they have no context to know what being 25, 35 or 45 can even be like so they chalk up everything 25+ as "old".

I didn't start lifting weights until I was 26. The extra testosterone I experienced during my noob gains made me outrageously horny, but after moving through that experience; I readily observed habits in people that I wanted to distance myself from, and there aren't a lot of people that place as much importance on staying in shape or gaining muscle as I do, which drives a wedge even further between myself and others. Not as many people are what I would consider physically attractive now that I've been lifting for a while, either.

I sort of did, I was in good shape in my teens but uni ruined me, years of drinking and drugs left me looking like absolute shit and I lost all my strength.

I got back in shape at 25-26 (cant remember exactly when). So yeah I didnt exactly go from nothing to been fit, because I had been fit in the past, but I did regain my fitness brah

All this talk about how you cant make gains past 21 and how you need trt at the ripe old age of 25 is cope. The main thing that makes it harder to be in shape when your older is finding the free time. In high school you have all the time in the world to get a good gym session in, but you really have to squeeze it in when you have a job and family. So I always go at about 11pm and finish by midnight, shower and sleep before going to bed

Feels great to be able to play with my kids, chase them around, lift them up or be able to carry them upstairs to bed when they fall asleep in the car. Feels good to be "that dad who takes care of himself" at school functions and kid's birthday parties. Feels good that my kids are into fitness because they see me into it. My wife is very HAES/Liberal/Feminist and I love her (she has moved Left as I have moved Right), but she is objectively wrong on a lot of this stuff, so it's important they see the other side of the coin. I'm in better shape now than I was in the Army. Found some SF and fellow Ranger guys to work out with, and it feels great.

    24 is not old.
That being said, I was active hiking, biking, etc. my whole life but didn't really buckle down and start a consistent exercise routine until I was 30. The result is I feel great, a lot of chronic injuries from a decade of desk job are gone, and my ability to recover is noticeably better. I've got friends who I love dearly but aren't super active and a hike is doable but an event. Meanwhile I have been clocking out of work, hitting the local state forest, and racking up 6-7mi before dinner just for fun. I occasionally have a day to just relax but I feel like between diet and exercise I just shrug off fatigue now. And with the addition of blackout curtains my sleep is far more restful.

Basically even if you don't end up looking insane, being fit rules. It's worth the effort and honestly it's not that much effort.

I was always a tall and skinny skelly, I never really thought about fitness, I played some sports in high school but that was about it. Was 6'3 150lbs from around 18-24, never had a problem back then with social situations or women. Looking back, I probably coasted by with height alone back then, or I was just not afraid of women.
I started to try to get fit when I met my ex, she was way out of my league so I wanted to look better for her. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing though, probably only put on like 10lbs of muscle in a 3 year time frame.
After we split I wanted to actually get fit, I was 28 and I looked into what I needed to do, found this place and now I'm at a pretty 205lbs, mostly muscle, I am cutting down at the moment, but I think I look great and get attention from lots of different people now, women are more friendly to me and I just get more compliments in general now. My self esteem has never been higher.
Dating is easier but more shallow which is a negative, but I can still find decent connections here and there. I'm currently 29 and this little 23 year old girl keeps buzzing around me asking me to go to shows with her, she's nice, I'm interested to see where it goes.
Definitely worth it to get fit at any age, I did start lifting for vain reasons, and I still do to an extent, but now I'm addicted to the progress, if more people like me because of the results? so be it lol. Posting picrel to my insta has gotten me more women in the past 4 months than I got throughout all of high school no cap

I was fat my entire childhood and most of my adult life. Now i am 32, starting lifting seriously last may after a decade of lollygagging, and now i'm in the best shape of my life. of course i regret not being fit in my youth, but knowing that i now have agency, and can apply my will to my body in a way i never did before, really helps to make up for it.
i lift every day. when i plateau, it doesnt upset me, because that means i'm actually pushing my limits and growing, i'm at the frontier, thats where any red-blooded man wants to be. when i dont exercise, i feel slow and stupid for the rest of the day. my body has taken on a form it never was before. there are defined muscles, and a tapered sillhouette, i fill out the oversized clothes that i originally bought to hide my hideous physique. sometimes at the gym i'll glance at the mirror and not recognize myself immediately, and i think, 'damn, that guy looks beefy'.
after a few months of careful attention, my eating habits have completely evened out. before, i had this sort of peasant delusion that i should stuff myself as much as possible in the event of famine, that i wont know when my next meal will be, and even ate perfectly edible food out of garbage cans. i then reasoned to myself that is is more desirable to have a body which is capable of supporting itself in times of lack, rather than fatten my body and hope that i wont have to use it in difficult times. occasionally i skip a meal when it's not convenient or there's nothing of quality to eat. when i do eat, i find that i fill quicker, and that i don't enjoy filling myself to capacity like i used to. it makes me bloated, sluggish, vulnerable, i detest it. i enjoy feeling the hunger, it keeps me on my toes.

my luck with women has not improved because i am a creep, and engaged besides. i have noticed that i just dont care about them or value their opinions on anything, including my own image. conversely, men value my opinion more, and ive noticed that even my presence puts some at ease.
i think i've undergone fundamental personality changes in the last year. many old acquaintances and even family members dont recognize me, sometimes i dont recognize myself, but i like who i am much more than who i was, and it doesnt pain me to see the old me go.
i haven't quite made it. i'm not where i want to be, but i understand that if i merely stay the course, consistently exercise my volition, i know i will get what i want soon, so it doesnt bother me to not have it now. thank you for reading my blog 2/2

at 25 lifted for just about a year and put on more muscle but it was fucking grueling the amount of food i had to eat in order to gain that muscle. It felt like my metabolism made me one day away from losing my gains.

35 now lifting often and finally my metabolism has slowed a little where i can keep a little weight. My body is able to actually fill out with the muscle ive built. just a classic dad type bod that i'm happy maintaining. Feels good to not be one skipped meal away from looking dyel mode.

    Age 26 here,
Idk if my story's pertinent but I'll talk.

So in my country, I took a diploma in a technical institution. Was very depressed back then ( self pity, learned helplessness, anger turned inward )

Then one day after working a job, I found something that influenced me a lot and I thought to myself, "if I'm sad for no reason, I can be happy for no reason. Then I built the courage to take a national exam for junior college students looking to get into university. It wasn't easy studying alone at home, but by sheer luck, I also joined a community sports team and got fit for/because of them. That built my self confidence abut and even when I did poorly for the exam, I wasn't very discouraged.

I picked myself up and inadvertently taught myself to be outgoing. I would talk to random students on trains and ask if I could borrow/ make a copy of their notes etc, since I wasn't in any junior college and just scraping by on textbooks.

Somehow, I managed to do passably well in the exam on my second attempt, and here I am in university.

So I kinda feel like having a sporty body now, I'm no longer "invisible". People take my opinion more seriously now, especially given the fact that they respect my dedication in taking a national exam "solo". (I have a good grade in uni now). Girls can't really tell I'm older unless I say so.

I now feel less scared of talking to girls and build opportunities for myself more readily. Still no gf but girls are asking qns like "lmao how are you gf-less".

Still autistic but girls sorta take it OK to well rather than in the past where I would make a joke and nobody would laugh, only for the more attractive kid to say the exact same line right after for the class to roar with laughter.

All in all, I wouldn't say it's a superpower, but it's been helpful and made me a better person, wmore capable of achieving my goals in life.

    Thx for reading my blog

People think I'm much younger than I am (32), but aside from that I don't notice much difference; granted, I'm still basically a shut in aside from work and the gym. I also thought it would cure my depression but it hasn't really. Although the time in the gym plus the tons I sleep means less free time where I can ruminate, at least.

My 22 year old coworker is into me though, and I hope to have sex with her soon.

34 here. not swole nor buff as I don't really lift weights though I look athletic lean. I was fat - skinnyfat my whole 20s. Took boxing a couple of years ago.
    >apparently looks 5-8 years younger when people guess my age
    >younger women started to show interest(this surprised me the most)

Played sports all my life until i met my ex of 5 years. She was a gains goblin who wanted me to stay home instead of working out, and i did. turned into a soi skinnyfat. When she left, I decided to get fit at 29, and now 3 years later im in better shape than when i was in college. better lifts, better cardio, better leanness. maybe its a combination of both being fitter, more confident, and having a more stable career, but women have been easier and more interested than ever

I was buff from 23-25. Went back to ottermode for almost ten years. Started to get back into lifting and especially bouldering for the past 1,5 years with a very clean diet. Now at 34 I'm more swole and more vascular than almost all men in my circle. The dudes sometimes mire, the females especially do from 30 onwards.
My gf of 7 years likes it, but it scares her sometimes. I noticed her becoming way more jealous than before.

The only difference for myself I realize that I'm not as prone to goyslop, hedonistic bitchy behaviour than most of my friends and that I feel very clear and have much more energy.

Lifted from 18-24 probably averaged 4x a week alongside my friends.
    >shit tier natural test levels im talking sub 250 but no endo would give me TRT at this age in australia, shift tier genetics for everything except arms
    >looked strong but not aesthetic at all even when cut kinda looked just a bit better than normies

Gave up the gym for 2 years because honestly it's depressing having such a shit physique next to my friends (who were also natty).

    >took gear 27, better physique than I ever had (still shit for roids tbh)
    >baby face is semi gone, I look like a pretty boy who is 19-21, and my body matches
    >am single so I can fuck young chicks easily now
    >zoomer girls like pretty boys and a lot are into asians now so the stars aligned for me

NOTE: I'm asian my family look really young, my brother is 31 he looks 21, and he's also fit. Mum looks 40 at 60, etc.

Started lifting at 29, was skeleton mode (about 55kg bodyweight at 5ft 11, could barely OHP an empty bar).

Now 31, progress is very slow, but I'm getting there. Almost 80kg bodyweight, but years away from 1/2/3/4.

I got fat when I started working, then dropped weight when I got engaged (I was 26 when we got married), and kept going. Went from general GPP into powerlifting and powerbuilding the past two years.

My biggest rule is never be injured. I used to be play rugby and an injury is the killer of gains and goals, I learnt that from footy early. Contact sport, conditioning or strength training - avoid injuries and turn up at least 3x times a week. After 10 years that's 1560 training sessions. That with good sleep and macros that suit lifestyle, and you're golden.

The "swolest" I've been is probably when I was around twenty nine I guess? You'll definitely notice more female attention. I've had strange women feel my arms up. Had nurses going out of their way to chat me up. Had a neighbor (she has a reputation for sleeping around) that no longer recognized me walk a hundred meters to introduce herself to me. I'm now forty and look like a DYEL. You still get treated better by simply being thinner than average.

Y-you're right, no arguments here. Except for "on par with" the biggest loser part, that's much too far. There is no easy answer to getting yourself into a bad position in life. And it happens so fast, one minute you're a bit autistic and goofy with the ladies, next you're mid 30s shitposting every day on IST.

I started at 27 and while i regret not lifting earlier, im the only one in my high school friend group who hasnt gotten fat as shit. Everyone i know is gleefully letting themselves go and their excitement to be unhealthy depresses me. Like “lol we’re 30 now time to have a dad bod! xD”. People arent kidding when they say how fast you can plummet after your youth runs out.

Started at 29. Wish I would've done it sooner.

Went back to school and noticed a lot of "late bloomers" who wanted to get laid--they started working out (so like 18/19yrs old), left me in the dust in terms of growth. You lost T as you age, but don't let it stop you....it's just better to start earlier.

But what the other old anons are saying is true. If you start working out in late 20s or 30+, you will be in better shape than almost all of your friends.

Stayed in shape in my early 20s but have been eating better and lifting heavier now that i'm near 30. I found its easier to gain mass due to knowing about macros. Also being able to afford better food and equipment helps immensely.

Started to get fit around 25, I was a complete incel until that point. Then I had my first kiss and lost my virginity soon after.

It's strange to go from being disgusting to women, to being admired, fancied, etc. Desired, and by desirable women too. Usually the older ones though - the woman chooses to like me, not the other way around. I have terrible social skills.

Not just my sex life, but I was also a uni dropout, no friends and had terrible anxiety. I become a graduate, then a developer, now a senior developer. Getting fit was completely essential for my mental health

Got a 27 year old GF at age 26. Naturally she rode the cock carousel beforehand.

Helped her with Uni stuff (she‘s kind of a midwit) and got her impressively fit by sharing my knowledge about nutrition and working out, designing plans for her etc.

4 years later and she declined my marriage proposal cause i wanted to start a family and she‘s just not ready. Now she thinks about leaving me to go on another ride on the carousel.

And the worst part about this is i love her and can‘t even imagine a life without her anymore.

Thanks for reading my blog, hope you all have a nice day

Nice work, anon. You got to fuck that cock holster for 4 years while learning the ins and outs of a long term relationship. Now you can use that knowledge to find a fit young woman to start a real life with.

Bonus points for riding that whore straight into the wall before dropping her back off on the carousel. Anons should learn from you.

You didn't want some 30 year old used up whore when you can easily go find a 22 year old cardio bunny.

me stopped drinking and started working out at 27, i had a really effeminate body, with hips wider than my shoulders, i'm now 30 and i have a body that i'm proud of, some days i can even see my abs not flexing, it gave me a lot of confidence, i used to think i had bad genetics and blamed other people for my shit, i realized that literally anyone can achieve herculean body, they just have to work for it, your body has no shortcuts, the ultimate human elo is your body shape
