I alternate between olive oil and butter for cooking meat.

Porque no los dos. When i stir fry i use both, butter to add flavor and richness and olive oil to raise the smoke point and for its pungeancy. Olive oil is not a sneed oil, theres no reason to fear it. If you have even an ounce of Mediterranean blood in you then olive oil has sustained your ancestors for 100s of generations

Why pour the oil into a spoon for it to overflow into the bowl as opposed to just pouring the oil straight into the bowl?

When the oil has to flow arond the edges of the spoon, nytrodehydropicolinate becomes nytrodehydrobispicolinate. This way you increase antioxydative properties of olive oil.
But seriously, it's just for a nice pic. Nothing more

If you cook with olive oil you're gonna die before your 70s, anon

people were never meant to live past 60, you keep fit to keep your performance up and not be a fatty subhuman, lifespan doesn't matter because ideally you should die from non-natural cause before 50 anyways

One of my grandmas used olive oil for everything and she lived to 93. The other also uses it for everything and lives to 85 and counting. I'm not shitting you when I say both of them have never used sneed oils

Meds cook everything with olive oil and have one of the longest life expectancy in the world. Makes you think.

When I'm cooking red meat, I trim the fat and let it melt in my cast iron pan the exact amount for the meat not to stick. I don't use sneed oils neither olive oil. The meat gets way tastier plus I save money.

It’s actually great if you’re on a bulk. It’s a healthy fat. A table spoon or two in your smoothie will add around 100-200 calories of nutritious fat. It’s not as bad as people think, healthy fats have a lot of benefits including good for your skin, cells, and digestive track. You could also use coconut oil, but if you’re cooking with it then definitely recommend olive oil

Are you aware that the mafia cuts ALL olive oil with sneed oils?

Nah, just the cheap ass brands. Just put in in the fridge, if it solidifies there's no sneed oil in it.

Yeah, that's why you buy the imported Arab brands from their ethnic grocery stores.

That's why you should only buy extra virgin

Bro just look up multiple verifiable scientific studies to make your dietary decisions.

Why are you asking for dietary advice on a board where people proudly blast roids and/or chemicals that make their hair grow back at the cost of having a non-functional dick.

Like form advice, input on aesthetic, split advice, shit like that sure. But don't ask advice on what to put in your body here.

Either way get fricked, drink it by the gallon.

Extra virgin only, and only cold. It can't handle heat well. It's not a food you have to limit if you use it right.

1 teaspoon/day is okay. Saturated fats are better.
