And then goon off to hardcore porn (rest of the week is strict nofap)
Would this be enough to damage my gains?
That's around 7 standards, its a bit on the heavier side for weekly but I'd say as long as the rest of your diet is good and you also drink plenty of water you'd be okay.

anon this is way better than going to a bar drinking beer and eating greasy ass burgers. Though its within safe limits, if its weekly it might turn into a daily habit. I do a sober september and sober january for ego boost and liver cleanse
Is JB a good choice for Friday night sips? Im not really into fancy stuff as I like to whiskey with a bit of Coke. Used to drink JB black with friends as a teenager but all these bourbons have been diluted and arnt as strong as they once were. Was 43% to memory, but think now only 40%. When it comes to the cheap stuff, Jim Beam is the best, if you want something in the better quality, mid price range check out Maker's Mark, Buffalo Trace. Those are great sippers but I wouldn't put ice in them, its actually a fun process learning to slowly sip it straight without choking. I buy Jimmy cause its cheap so I don't feel bad about watering it down. Bourbon and Rye are better to drink than Scotch (way too rough). I can bench 225 for about 15 clean reps, I think my gains are decent. I dont put much effort in the gym.

It you work out, and have 3 drinks, your body has to use the energy to process that alcohol rather than recovering your muscles
