    processed sugar is sugar stripped from all the fibers/minerals/vitamins etc. So your body will use its own resources to brake it down. It also spikes your insuline every time you consume it.

    Stay away from refined sugars period. Just look it up. They are terrible for the body. Unrefined sugars are okay, but should be utilized soon so you don't get chubby.

      interestingly sugar creates an insulin response which incites the synthesis of cholesterol.
      When you exercise you need cholesterol to synthesize important hormones.
      It is no wonder a sedentary lifestyle will lead to your death.

    Good if you're doing some kind of endurance cardio, where you need a constant stream of carbs to keep going. Otherwise, you're best off not consuming it at all except from natural sources like fruit.

    Why make this thread again, isolated carbohydrates are good for many reasons if you have a physical use for it, if you are adding it to things for no reason its not a wise use of your limited caloric intake for the day.
