Ongoing jock itch

I need brohelp bros. About 6mo ago, I came down with some wicked jock itch. No biggie, I’ve had it before. I’ll just take some prescription cream and keep the area dry, right?
I went to the dermatologist about three months ago. He said it looks good, but just to leave it alone. I left it alone and it came back. I can’t remember if it was here or elsewhere on the net, but I read someone said to buy antifungal soap for your shower, and then after you’ve dried off, apply coconut oil.
I’ve done all that. I’ve tried Vaseline, coconut oil and olive oil, not to mention about three different types of creams. I’m seeing the dermatologist again in a week, but my shit is looking seriously red, wrinkly and cracked like never before. What can I do at this point? It’s been six months. What do you guys think the Dermatologist is going to do? Give me a shot of some sort? If you’ve ever had jackets for this long, what did you do to get rid of it? I want my balls back bros

Bro, get the cream that’s used to keep your feet dry. It’s at any pharmacy. Rub that all over your balls and you’ll be good.

No lie, I got that shit on my face, wasn’t even on my wienerenballs, I went for a prescription and doc told me it would be 2 weeks. Given that I was living in Florida at the time and had no car, bicycling everywhere, the humidity and sweat kept my hopes for a speedy recovery low.

Anyways, I went to buy foot powder for my vibrams to keep them from stinking, and the guy at the checkout told me to buy the cream instead, and said to trust him. I put two and two together (jock itch thrives in humid environments, and that cream keeps things dry) and decided to put it on my face, too. It healed in two days. And the guys name was “Miracle” btw, I shit you not. God is great

I can’t remember. Just go to a pharmacy and look / ask for a cream meant to keep your feet dry. Any cream that promotes dryness should work. good luck itchy-balls anon

I usually get it bad in the summer and don’t have to worry about it in the winter. Just go to Walmart and get the can that says jock itch spray. It’s the same stuff you use on your feet for feet fungus. All you do if spray the area twice a day until the can runs out. Then it should clear up by then. Try to keep that area dry

wash yourself with epsom salt whilst exfoliating your skin. Dry the area, and change your clothes to be loose and airy. I personally recommend freeballing, as it keeps you from getting jock itch. Consume anti-inflammatory foods in the meantime to aid healing, alongside higher amounts of iodized salt. Lastly, if you have access to NAC powder- not pills- consume high doses of it alongside kefir. Your immune system will thank you, and your nuts will be fungus-free. This is a final imperative- only wear natural fabrics. NO SYNTHETICS. EVER. I don't have to explain why.

Like the other anon, I walk about 8 miles a day in the heat. I do eat a lot of sugar though, so I can cut down on that and I wear basketball shorts under my work shorts, because I feel like they give me more room than boxers if you know what I mean. I’m going to cut down on the sugar and start wearing only cotton boxers. Should I use a blow dryer to dry my balls?

I’m pretty sure I do the same thing as you for a living. I’ve tried coconut oil. Didn’t work. What kind of underwear are you wearing when doing all that walking in the heat?

How often do you wash your towel, buy anti fungal laundry wash and add it to your washing, do you also have athletes foot?

Dude I had jock itch for almost 2 years and never bothered taking care of it, it was all over my ass, and under my balls, then I got one of this bottles and went away after a couple months of using it every day. Get the spray not the cream, spraying it is much easier than rubbing cream all over the place.

As someone who had to deal with this a few weeks back let me give you some actual advice.

Any sort of anti fungal wash + talcum powder. Trust me this shit worked like a miracle. When I had it, I literally could not sleep due to the exteme itchiness of my balls so I took a shower and found an anti fungal shampoo (nizoral) which I used to thoroughly wash the entire zone with and wash off. I did 2 passes just to be safe. As soom as you dry off with a clean towel, use talcum powder all around the area to keep it completely dry. I appload it all around the region about 3 times, again, just to be on the safe side. This is to ensure that there is no moisture in the area so that it is extremely difficult for the bacteria and fungus to multiply as that is what causes it in the first place. Once that's done, wear something that allows ventilation to your balls so that they can breathe and because it also feels nice. I kid you not, I didn't feel a single bit of discomfort 10 minutes after that shower.
    You're welcome.
