Be an electrician don’t be a labourer or concrete guy

I’m interested in going to trade school. I want to be active for my job but I don’t want it to break my body. Have a buddy in HVAC who recommends that or electrician.

      Any advice?

And how much of your work involves interacting with other people? I assume it’s less than most jobs like an office or retail, obviously

Be an electrician, most amount of money least amount of work. Nothing to physical. Always in demand as everyone needs electricity. Get a union job.

You need to be able to shoot the shit with the bros

I can shoot the shit with the bros. My issue is standing in some homosexual uniform seeing hundreds of customers a day in sales or retail, or having to be in an office and stay professional with women around. I’m going to look more into this. If I don’t go military later this year, I’ll start trade school. Thanks man.

Brother do not join the military, 4 years of spinning your wheels. Hit trade school and get your money

Be an electrician, HVAC is the most sovless trade.
Skip the unions. wait until you're a journeyman if you really wanna join them.
Private sector is dying for yung bloods that can a work ethic, they'll pay well and pay for all your school.
Gotta be able to take and give shit from your fellow brehs on the site and you'll have to be able to be customer service every now and then once you're leading jobs.

Heavy lifting is not good for your body. Walking and light exercise is, because while the muscles might be able to handle the weight, the joints, tendons and bones cannot. This is why manual labor is bad for your body

Heavy lifting literally increases bone density and reduces broken bones in old age, you fricking homosexual

Preindustrial workers actually worked fewer hours.

There are farmers who do like 30 minutes of work a day moving livestock to new pasture, but some days are like 12 hours or more of work.

You had lords and sedentary people back then as well, as well as people who were fit or obese.

Not much has changed really. If you do well in the trades you can become a foreman (manager) or even start your own company.

Lot of older guys do this instead of working at the same level their entire lives.

The problem with trade work is not the physical aspect of it its the pattern overload. If youre a carpenter you hammer nails until you frick your shoulder up, or develop wrist issues from repetitive motions. Another reason so many trade people are fricked up is they do physical work while also being in horrible shape and not being aware of how awful they move. The amount of people I see duck walking in steel toe boots is mind blowing it hurts my knees just looking at them. And big ole fat foremen with bad backs who never did a frickin plank in their life. If you can avoid being a moron and avoid pattern overload you should be fine.

Also you're absolutely out of your mind if you think our ancestors didnt sit around a bunch and take naps.

You know tribal people still exist to this day? They live in nature and still hunt with bows, live in mud huts and wear furs?
Your idea of what natural living looks like is infantile at best.

People still live in nature to this day, hunting with bows and living in mud huts.
They live well into their 60-80s disproving the idea that our ancestors had shorter live spans than us completely.
Many tribal people live longer than modern people.

imagine believing this bullshit. the average lifespans don't account for child mortality, and when you died young it was because of an accident or an infection, not because you aged faster

        >We determined that the average age of death was between 25 and 30 in Aşıklıhöyük, which is very young. A man who died between the ages of 45 and 50 had one of the longest lives.”

being active and doing slave labor are two completely different things. although since you are a moronic Black person you probably descend from slaves kek... also literally no one says it about "trades" in general, you wont die from being a plumber, but backbreaking shit in construction sites will destroy your body, you braindead homosexual

Our ancestors barely worked at all lmao. The average peasant during the middle ages worked like 3-4 months a year. Just admit that wagies are modern slaves.

Been in trades since I was a kid. In one of the most routinely physical demanding ones (not an electrician, lol, I'm not gay) right now and have been for over a decade. I Also work out routinely. I can not for the life of me understand who in the frick thinks it's too hard on you. I can stand up to lots punishment and keep on ticking and I believe I owe it all to constantly being on the go.

They have insane forearms and surprisingly decent chests + arms, not uncommon to see tradies bench 1pl8 on day one. It's a better starting base than any wagie job

Literally every single human being ever the age of 17 who is not a genetic dead-end should be able to bench 1pl8 right off the bat. My 160lb firefighter buddy who has NEVER stepped foot in a gym was able to bench 165lbs on day 1.

If you have any musical talent at all go to school for instrument repair
Every manager at every company in the country is 60-65 yrs old so you can slide into some easy shop management gig making 60-80k a year in the next 5 years when the retirement wave hits
