I only incline DB press (100s @ 160bw) for this reason

What a meme. My chest has improved and women notice it. I've had girls grab my chest while fricking, or even compare it to their chest and say that theirs are lacking compared to mine while poking my juicy my pecs.
But please continue making 0 gains doing incline bench, weighted chinups and front squats because some fake natty butthole told you that you're gonna look like a Hollywood actor

I get the problem with incline benching and front squatting but why not weighted chinups?

Why overload chins and risk shoulder damage, when you overload the deadlift (after all, there is no reason to be alive if you can't do deadlift).
Besides, rows, especially chest supported rows, will give you much greater back gains. Ask any guy with a big back at your gym about it.

If you feel shoulder pain with a close grip then you don't know how to bench.

          Nvm you said elbow.
But why the frick would get elbow problems from CGBP? I only get elbow issues from extensions. Git gud

I have literally never experienced this.

Well I have and many other people have, too. It's highly individual if someone will feel pain doing dips, unlike the bench.

Fr look at the picture again. Namely the angle at the elbow. It's more of a fricked up skull crusher than a bench press. I am confident that if you tried this at your current cgbp work weight you would snap.

Look at the OP you shit eating moron

Who fricking cares, OP made this thread about bench, or CGBP.
The exercise in the pic is a JM press and could give you elbow pain, but that doesn't mean you're gonna break your elbows or whatever.

              it's a variant of a tricep press.
look at it closely, it mimics the exact movement of doing a pushup tricep press.

would barely touch chest if at all.
for the record decline press is great for lower chest and the only people that think it looks bad are fatties because it only pushes their moobs our further.

dips fricking suck. Too much strain on the sternum and rotator cuffs when you do progressive overload on them.

I have literally never experienced this.

Probably because you're just doing bodyweight dips. In which case you're not harming anything, but you're also not really doing anything at all either.

For bench I only do military press and incline. Very rarely will I do flat bench. I suppose my upper-body is somewhat aesthetic, I still have a shit-ton of work to do to get the definition I really want.

You clearly don't understand the biomechanics at work then. Flat and decline bench will work the whole pec; it's not like you can isolate the lower pec with this. Flat bench will, however, work the outside of your pecs
