Overtraining is the worst meme...

"There's no such thing as overtraining if you keep eating." - Jay Cutler

Overtraining is a complete meme. I'm not talking about over-doing it when training (weight or progression out of natural alignment) but training "too often."

Mother fricker I lift weights 2x daily, every single day. I've been doing this for 19 months. I went from zero training, to 20 mins a day, to 2x daily. No days off, ever. I don't even eat that well.

Overtraining is the gayest excuse not to meet your goals.

Never heard of overtraining are you making up a fake scenario in your head to give yourself a victim complex like black people and conservatives?

Overtraining is real. I trained each body part 2-3 times per week, during high intensity and high volume sessions, for like 3-4 years.
I eventually realized that it was moronic and so now I train each muscle group once per week, with lower volume and even higher intensity. Much more effective and saves a lot of time.

I got overtraining syndrome from training right near my limits 3 times a day 7 days a week. I was doing cardio, lifting weights, or doing sports for close to 7 hours a day. You have to train like an olympian to end up with it. The people who think not having a day off is going to cause that are idiots

So if lift for 20 minutes and then lift maybe another 20 minutes? With abs entire system rest in-between? And you’ve been doing this for 19 months? Bro you’re not even close to training let along overtraining

but are you going all out? are you sitting on a bench during most of your workouts? if you don't need a day off to recover you're probably not pushing your body to the limit, get that heart rate up son do some cardio strength or try a sport like kickboxing, i bet hot yoga would kick your ass

And when was the last time Jay Cutler worked out without roids, lmao?

    >Mother fricker I lift weights 2x daily, every single day. I've been doing this for 19 months. I went from zero training, to 20 mins a day, to 2x daily. No days off, ever. I don't even eat that well.

moronic Black person, what is your INTENSITY when you workout, are you doing bodyweight chins and push-ups, or are you actually lifting heavy weights? Overtraining is when you are no longer recovering from workouts, it doesn't have to be some Olympian athlete vomiting and shitting to be overtraining.

If you are working out every day, guess what, your intensity is not high, otherwise you would just not recover (unless you are using anabolics). You can lift once every 3 days and still end up overtraining, if you are doing some Mike Mentzer style all out training.

Go and actually do HEAVY sets, TILL FAILURE, every workout, and then come back to me, moronic Black person homosexual

how about you start pushing yourself homosexual, stop doing Jim Wendler's afternoon special 10x5, put your 3-10 rep max on the bar and do 3 amrap sets with 45 second rest between them and see what happens

The image you just posted is exactly what overtraining means. It's not a meme, you will hit a point if you train too much and those will be the results. Your body will become weaker too because you never let it heal.

The only kind of overtraining I want to hear about is if your tendons need a break to catch up with fast muscle development or if you fricked up doing crossfit or military training and got rhabdo.
