Ozempic is expensive and only works because it makes you feel too nauseous to eat. Also it doesn't train the fatties so if they resume their normal eating after stopping it they'll just gain the weight back.

You Black folk said the same thing about finasteride which has been around for 32 years now.
Also, being obese is a health risk factor with a far larger long term negative side effect profile than ozempic could possibly have. Or did you really believe that being fat was just a cosmetic issue? Healthy at every size amirite?

      Anonymous

      No not really dude
I'm taking it right now and it just makes it so you're not hungry for longer , I've experienced zero side effects

People want you to believe that there's a trade off to everything, but drugs just make you superior to your natural state, you have to accept it.

          Anonymous

Yes the "drugs are superior" is dumb.
But, you aren't natural anyway. Xenoesteogen in water, foods, and soaps. Receipts that poison you with the same. Cancer causing pipes and purposeful addition of Floride to the water. Microplastics in food, even meat. Nano plastics that Britta filters can't even get. Søy in everything, seed oils too. Milk that contains antibiotics and medicine the cows are given, then pasteurized to make it worse for you than raw milk. Fish normally have mercury, now testing positive for lithium from the sheer number of runoff piss of those taking medications. Tap water containing Female Birthcontrol runoff. Pesticides on every plant, even the organic.
And you want me to avoid taking some medication or chemicals with actual intention. Taken to try to balance out the shitstorm of poison in everything even the air?

I think I'll stick with augmentation. There's nothing natural anyway, even the Amish have never escaped it, and as the Train derailing shows, never will.
I say take what you want. Know there are risks, but know you are already taking so much accidentally, and unavoidably. (Until it all burns)

There's always a cost for black magic brother. For ozempic, Thyroid tumors and kidney problems seem to be the most common severe sides. This however pales in comparison to the fact that they will inevitably fail, and regain the weight, like most dieters. only these people didn't even manage to suffer and learn short term behaviors and strategies. They will rebound. They will either be fat, or be on drugs until the sides take them, then they'll be fat once again. You can't cheat this forever, you must pay the price. You will reap what you've sown, even if you've sown nothing at all, a shit pile you'll have.

I'm in a similar situation. I was obese throughout my teens then suddenly got the patience to lose weight in my early twenties. It's good others are losing weight too I just don't want acquaintances assuming I'm a rich gay who got lucky with a new drug and sneaked my way out of being fat. People seeing me mature and get my shit together was a big motivator but now ozempic existing as soon as I lose weight slightly dulls that achievement

As for yourself, developing the discipline to control your diet and body mass without help is infinitely more valuable than a fad drug that does half the work for you. Most people taking ozempic and similar drugs may even return to their old habits once they stop taking it and struggle to maintain a body they don't normally have. Plus we don't need to waste thousands a year on it

Ozempic will not make people go to the gym and get in shape, it will not give them trained muscles. All it does is make them not want to eat.
Counting calories is dumb af, if you eat reasonable amount of food in a day but consume crazy amounts of calories then the food you eat is garbage. Change your food so that normal daily consumption will not exceed the amount of calories required for the man of your age and your specific lifestyle.

      Anonymous

Fat people eat for more than what is considered a normal amount. That's the crux of the issue. To a fat person, "normal" would be eating an exorbitant amount of food. Fatties have no understanding of what a "reasonable" amount of food actually is, especially if they've been fat most of their life. Given this, calorie counting would be necessary to get them to eat healthily.

        Anonymous

Imagine if what they eat had 30% less calories, they would still eat the same amount of food but their calory intake would be 30% less. Thats my point, you can easily replace/reduce/remove the most calory dense foods or ingredients from your diet and still eat almost the same amount of food. It's not even that difficult, just go for reduced sugar, reduced carb, reduced fat options.

  28. 11 months ago
    Anonymous

Ozempic does work as advertised. But while people who use Ozempic will get thinner by eating reduced amounts of the same processed crap they always have, even at the same weight they'll still be less healthy and feel worse than someone who has switched to a vegetable-based diet with quality fish and meat. Even if we had absolutely perfect appetite-reducing drugs, diet and lifestyle modification still wouldn't be pointless because weight isn't the only thing that matters.

If Ozempic is a cheat code for losing weight then all the fast food companies have been using a cheat code for getting rich by making us fat and unhealthy in the first place.

We've all been poisoned by processed food in the west and nobody will stop them so time to fight fire with fire. Hope everyone goes on O and McDonald's goes bankrupt.
