Yet those "weak people" slaughtered tribal hunter gatherers at will on sight. This is same sort of cringe as pagan larpers saying Christianity made White people weak then crying how Christians slaughtered or force converted pagans. Honk honk to you, sir.

That's more technology / civilization, not the peoplr themselves who are more like the domesticted pets of technological civilization.

a hunter gatherer is more fit and skilled and everything about his body is better than his graincel peer living in a society. And, seeing as this is IST, that's all that matters. This is like saying goyslop is good for you because a fat burger can drone strike someone.

Those weak people had the cancer of civilization behind them, it was inevitable. Don't be stupid. We live in the situation we're born into but if you have the choice between eating like a hunter-gatherer or eating like everyone else then you should make the choice that's best for your body

Not a ketotard, but you're completely wrong about agriculture.
    >Contrary to popular belief it caused significantly more hunger than hunting / gathering ever did.
    >The way archeologists pinpoint when a society switched to agriculture is literally to look for bone markers for health problems (tooth decay, growth arrest (Harris lines), anemia (porotic hyperostosis), scurvy, rickets, osteoperosis, etc.)

The israeli people in that picture would have eaten sprouted whole ancient grains that would have been extremely low sugar. You would despise healthy bread if forced to eat something other than the highly processed sugary, gmo crap they feed us now.

On top of that the israelites went to war constantly because they needed land. They need more land constantly because the sheep they would heard ate plants down to the root and they could not graze on the same land long.

Multiple theories for why a lot of human civilizations around the world transitioned from hunting and gathering into agriculture ~10,000 years ago, the some being: 1. as human groups grew in size and they started driving animal species to extinction, hunting and gathering became less sustainable, 2. end of the ice age made soil softer and more fertile, making it possible, 3. hunters/gatherers who had extra time on their hands had the chance to experiment with domestication, 4. the ideas of ownership and private property turned nomadic groups sedentary, making agriculture a necessity as a main source of food

Quality post. Yes, it is in fact a strangely still open to this day question for why the neolithic revolution happened.
Most people assume it happened because it was simply better for humans to farm instead of hunting e.g. it provided greater food security or increased their nutrition. Yet the reality is agriculture did the exact opposite and dramatically reduced food security and a variety of health measures.
So pretty interesting topic whatever the explanation/s is or are.

I've encountered an intriguing hypothesis that has merit. Have you heard of the Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis? It's been promoted by Graham Hanwiener and popularized by Bright Insight's Youtube channel. Really fascinating.

Essentially, the hypothesis is that a meteor struck the Earth and extinguished many of the species thought to be hunted to extinction by humans and destroyed any human civilization that may have existed (Atlantis, possibly located in present day Mauritania, for instance) and any remains have since been consumed by the sands of time. The Younger Dryas boundary is much like the KT boundary that was the first clue to the extinction of the dinosaurs. The Hiawatha crater, a probable impact site, was found in Greenland in the last few years.

Regardless of the timing of the impact, the Hiawatha crater is, as I understand it, almost certainly the origin of the Younger Dryas boundary, which represents scorched Earth covering North America, South America, Europe, and the Middle East (at least). The crater has been dated to be ~11,000 - 100,000 years old.

Anatomically modern humans survived a cataclysm equal to that of the dinosaurs. Frick.

This. The guy who genetically engineered modern wheat got a Nobel prize for it. Only problem is it’s not as digestible as it’s predecessor. But who cares about gluten sensitivity when you’re in the middle of a famine caused by an African civil war. The idea was that there would be more food available in the world so poor Africans wouldn’t starve. Viola, Nobel prize.

People have been eating nutritionally rich real bread made from manually processed ingredients coming from genetically unmodified unselected breeds of plants for thousands of years, and all of a sudden ~~*(the food industry*~~) floods the global market with massive amounts of unbeliavably bad, nutritionally poor, super processed products made with the cheapest and easiest to mass produce ingredients they can come up with

Kinda depends how far back your talking. There are serving cook books from Roman times. And archeologists have analyzed ancient breads. Ingredients were flour water and yeast. Health wise replicating using old strains of wheat and what not is definitely more trouble than it's worth unless you have a YouTube channel.

NTA but like, in general we use grains because they're cheap and easy and we can grow them. It's not like it's poison, so you don't have to really avoid it so much, but nevertheless, if you can eat something better then grain based stuff is subpar in my opinion

personally I don't buy bread anymore because one, I don't have it very much when I do buy a loaf and it goes bad before I can use it, and two, I have stuff like sweet potatoes or whatever with my meat and I never felt like I really needed bread. But I won't stop myself from having a sandwich or whatever sometimes.

There's probably a difference between bread made at home from wheat grown and milled a mile away without industrial machinery vs what's on the market today for mass consumption. Regardless of all that, I lost the most weight cutting out breads and pastas. Potatoes, meat, veg and fruit in balanced proportions. Touch of cream in the coffee and eggs for dairy, but that was it.

there's almost no difference actually, the biggest difference is whether or not you use the whole grain

You're literally moronic, humans have only eaten bread for a few thousand years which a blink of an eye against the tens of millions of years that it took for humans to evolve a particular physiology with highly specific diets and digestive tracts meant for meat, nuts, fruits, berries, seeds, leafy greens, and sometimes legumes.
