Is this really what’s keeping you away from maturing as a man? How about you start with improving in what you can around you and getting out of your comfort zone.

I’m perfectly content with my life. I have a wife and kid and I love my job.

    What would be better?
Either to live as healthy as I can albeit within the inescapable confines of decadent comfort to some degree in civilised society?

Or to become struggle itself? To live solely by my own hands. Any hardship faced with true desperation. So what if I die, I died struggling. Working towards perfection.

Is it better then to never commit to something wholeheartedly?

It can be put upon yourself, but then it's literally a larp and facade of what you actually desire. Which is something I suppose you'd call "forester mode" or just village life

Dude you’re a first world kid who has never lacked any commodities in his life.
Just because you didn’t grew up in WW2 or in Sierra Leone doesn’t mean you’re gonna hold back on becoming stronger not only physically but in all other aspects.
That’s why I say start with what you can improve from your current day to day.

What are you talking about schizo I never said the world needs to burn or anything but your belief that a mass reset wouldn't create strong men is wrong. Also frick you, you don't anything about my life. The highest I've ever been is low middle class but for the most part I lived in poverty.

The second and third panels in that image are part of a series of 5 paintings called course of empire, showing an area first primeval, then pastoral, built up, collapsing, and an overgrown ruin. The artist actually considered the gleaming ridiculously overbuilt city, here presented as "good times" to be already a society in decline. He felt painting 2, the nomadic pastoral scene where man is in harmony with nature to be the ideal good times.

I don’t want society to collapse like the Bronze Age collapse, I just want this debt based bullshit to collapse and all the people living well beyond their means to get totally royally justed. It won’t happen though everything will be done to bend over backwards so deano can still buy his bmw on Finance whilst his wife pays 10k for plastic injections into her face

Collapse doesn't bring about rebirth. Look at Latin America - permanent decay and stagnation, no rebirth.

Did Latin America ever actually have a civilisation to collapse though? Seems to me like it was always shit

Argentina was considered the crown of the new world for a while. Its fall from grace is a biblical tragedy. You could write an epic about it.

Yes. Latin America had a rich series of civilizations that ultimately fell to the Western globohomosexual world unfortunately.

Why did they fall so badly

        They were always a shithole.

Is it that it's a cherry picked photo and the reality was that Brazil was already behind in many metrics by this point in time? Such as having only four percent of the population able to read by 1930?

Yet, it didn't have massive drug and gang violence problems it has now - nor the moral degeneration of its underclass.

Nobody claims that you need hard times to be tough. Everybody knows that hard times will make tough people.

That's not why I need the collapse anon. I'm not fetishizing being a leather-clad mad max warlord biker. The systems of power in the world are sick and must be destroyed, rebuilt from the ground up. If things don't fall apart then we're headed for the worst kind of dystopian hellscape imaginable, and I won't be able to live in that, or subject my descendants to that.

My country's state religion is a demonic form of death worship and my leaders are all pedophiles or other degenerates. I lift to look good. I long for the collapse of the current order because it is a cancer. Those things have nothing to do with each other.

I don't want civilization to collapse, but it is going to collapse no matter what. The combo of climate change, resource exhaustion, and pollution doom us.

it's one of the saddest copes/delusions people have. There's never going to be an inciting incident. Your life isn't a fricking movie. You're not the protagonist of a comic book.

Its the losers that are hoping for collapse of society because they have nothing to gain from it continuing. So a collapse opens up new opportunities for them where they might have more success
