Why do normies fall for this meme? Really paying someone to give you half arsed exercise and meal plans and to "motivate" you to go to the gym? It's cringe asf in my opinion
Waste of money. Do it of your own accord.

Some people like encouragement, expert knowledge, and someone to talk to and give them advice
99.9% of "personal trainers" are not experts. I could be a personal trainer, most of IST could.
You have to go to school and be certified to be a PT
Kek, no, I was an ISSA certified fitness trainer, had to pay $500 for the giant book and coursework which took a few months to get through. It was intensive for what I had to learn, but at the same time, it really does not give you the actual tools to learn how to be proficient at training people.
It's much better to get a degree in exercise science and kinesiology and have a better base than what the study-at-home stuff will teach you. But then, you're in for big money. So, if you're autistic and ambitious enough to do a LOT of work on your own, then the course by mail stuff can work as long as you're constantly educating yourself on the side, not just being one of those gays who gets certified and then never bothers to learn jack shit again while having all your clients do the same fucking thing.
You have to do this to be an electrician, sysadmin, or teacher as well and any retard could do those jobs as well. You are confusing intelligence with education.
Most people are retarded anon. Literally 75%. They all just kinda wander through life. So people like my parents, who don't know how to use the internet to research shit, or just wanna get spoonfed everything and be fat, retard, consumerist americans--hire a personal trainer. Then they quit after a few weeks.
I am a PT and most people are miserable as fuck. Easy cash as a part time, especially when you can do anything online nowadays.
>expert knowledge
If someone told me we are going to train anterior and posterior I'd shoot him
laziness, fitness being subjectively unappealing as a hobby - means to an end, lack of time for research, etc. i dont blame em tbh
These "people" are like cattle. They come in to have someone watch them train (this gives them dopamine) and they are in fact so pathetic that they cannot move their bodies if there isn't someone telling them what to do.
A (good) personal trainer is good for normies who don't look up exercises, think about which muscles perform what function, and wonder if their form is correct. They need someone to do all that for them so they don't fuck themselves up.
If you weren’t such an autistic incel you would realize you can get paid to exercise and give out simple advice
do you eve know what incel means you retard?
Personal trainers are usually shit, only purpose for them is if you've never lifted before and need some basic guidance, but that's about it.
Coaches, on the other hand, can be very helpful, as long as you're getting someone who isn't a retarded e-celeb sending you cookie-cutter programming for $49.99 which will do you no good.
the pt at my gym is a total Chad. He's always flirting with all of her female costumers and befriending all his male costumers. Everyone loves him and he's banging a new girl every week. God i wish i wasn't autistic
I'm a PT. I really don't need the money. I only take on 5/10 + female clients that I think I have a chance of having sex with. So far I have an 80% success rate out of the 20 something clients I've had.
Good PT's will actually overhaul your diet and regiment, they're more like a knowledgeable mentor, usually for insane prices. But credit where credit is due, if they see you wasting their time they'll cut you off. Most chain gym PT's will just fart out a cookie cutter routine and stand by you for 30 min saying "good" and charge you 30 bucks a session.
Because most people have no idea what they are doing nor do they want to investigate, there is a reason 90% of newcomers stop going to the gym their first year
Idk, if you’re mind’s not engaged in your training/diet/recovery, you’re probably not going to make it.
