anybody else notice how they cut up the footage of the torch race finale to try and hide the fact that the only black guy shoved the korean guy in anger when he lost?

It's a shitty situation if you're the show runners, you don't benefit in any way from pointing it out since the whole narrative is about teammwork and comradeship and healthy competition. We all saw it, we all know what happened, but if you're the guy editing the show you leave that shit out as much as possible.

If it was an average western show, sure, but this show isn't striving for that kind of drama. There's probably plenty of back-biting comments that were tossed around and overheard by the microphones but it was all edited out. There's a theme of positivity and the contestants cheering each other on and focusing on their own personal fitness goals rather than needing the dub at any cost.

it's fucking netflix, they tried to hide it because it would make the black guy look bad
the show had plenty of tense moments and rivalries up until that point, especially during the 1 on 1 wrestling fights
literally anything they produce has straight white males being awkward/evil retards who get humiliated or laughed at by smart, stoic minorities every time they open their mouth

Hey, I hate Netflix and the type of pozzed pandering you're talking about too, I just don't think that's what's happening here. If they cared about minorities so much, why didn't they have an extended interview segment with him showing his background and shit?
anybody else notice how they cut up the footage of the torch race finale to try and hide the fact that the only black guy shoved the korean guy in anger when he lost?
here is the push slowed down, note the cut
they show the scene 3 times at full speed and all 3 times there is a cut exactly when he makes contact to make the push harder to notice
korean guy hit his head hard as fuck too, he was going full speed, clearly dazed after

from what i've seen, netflix understands that korea isn't as pozzed as the US racially speaking, they can't afford to be as aggressive in their propaganda there
he's black, speaks korean, sounds soft, and smiles a lot, they only needed him to not be violent

And he just had to have a boondocks bro moment at the last possible opportunity. Shame.

I don't know this show, why is the asian guy carrying a pole? Why did the black guy push him? Why is it sandy?

It was an obstacle course where there was one less torch than the number of contestants so one would be eliminated each round. That was the final round (2 contestants, 1 torch). The black guy pushed him because he's a moron with poor sportsmanship in the face of defeat

3 times they switch to another angle 1 or 2 frames after he touches him
Two biggest asshole moments:
Nignog pushing dude when he obviously lost, then starts swearing.
The heavy weight wrestler 1 on 1 in the ball game. Just kept slamming the jacked prison guard over and over for no fucking reason. That shit can be extremely dangerous, other trained wrestlers know how to take a fall and defend themselves, he doesn't. And there was no other reason than to show off how good you are at dominating someone who is untrained, really low class behaviour. Didn't even fight over the ball, just slammed him around, held him in a pin then continued with the slams.
Yeah, nignog showed his true color at the end.
Also agree, I wanted to like the wrestler guy too. But him needlessly beating up the prison guard, and then him betraying the female wrestler made me glad he lost on the sand competition
The guy that won had great balance. The moment he touched the ground he was ready to sprint instantly while the others had to regain theirs. That gave him the 1 second headstart that he needed to stay ahead since you can just block them from passing if you are ahead.
I’m only up to episode six, they haven’t revealed the 5 returning players yet. Digging the show, my only complaint is the editing. I’d like to see an all women version of this show.
He is not wrong though. Showing one moment 4-5 times with "Aw!.." sound gets old very fast. This is the only major negative thing about this show.
saying. If they edited out the sound on most of the replays or even left out some of the replays it would be much better. For example they could show somebody getting blocked for the ball in the first round with the action music, then show the replay from another more dramatic angle with the oohs and aahs for an emphasis.
The editing is so bad it made me drop it. Really cool concept though

shit taste, kys
sucks to hear, can’t blame you for it. For me the show overall is much better than the editing problem.
>female spectators screaming for her to beat him >he effortlessly controls her >crickets >*zip it* motion over his mouth >'omg what's with this guy' 'i feel so scared and threatened' 'that's sexist'
netflix moment
The more muscle you have the more lactic acid buildup you get and more energy you have to use, etc. There was a 90s WSM who came close to winning but had bodybuilding tier arms. It was to his disadvantage because they build up more pain to where you can't do anything
anybody else notice how they cut up the footage of the torch race finale to try and hide the fact that the only black guy shoved the korean guy in anger when he lost?
They cut up the footage to make you wonder what happened, whether he fell forward or tried to push the guy. It's editing for dramatic effect. They showed the push from three different angles moron.
if they weren't trying to hide it, the cuts wouldn't have occurred all at the exact same time, there would have been at least one slow mo, they would have included dialogue about it, and they would have interviewed both about it
he jumped into the torch despite there being an entire human already there
it was bizzarre, but I suppose I get it, when you're putting your all you're not as rational.
I think he was hoping the asian guy to fumble it
pick
My bad habit of fast typing.
All those competitions were so brutal except the one where they sprinted to grab the torch.
Yeah, torch challenge wasn't well thought out. Should have been longer course, like 200m, with more obstacles. Imo, winner would have been the same.
Yea just make it one long course and only one winner, no need to make them do it 3 times
>black guy loses in sprinting
How does this happen?
He lost due to his retarded jumping.
>that dirty push when he knew he already lost
I hate morons so much

Wouldn't you want to show it for increased drama?

Because it is trendy in the media world to wordship morons

Black gentlemen had a black gentlemen moment. Fucking poetry.
Yeah, nignog showed his true color at the end.
Also agree, I wanted to like the wrestler guy too. But him needlessly beating up the prison guard, and then him betraying the female wrestler made me glad he lost on the sand competition
His team made him betray the other wrestler against his wishes to be fair
he might have won if he didnt startle himself by landing so perfectly at the start
The guy that won had great balance. The moment he touched the ground he was ready to sprint instantly while the others had to regain theirs. That gave him the 1 second headstart that he needed to stay ahead since you can just block them from passing if you are ahead.
>The guy that won had great balance
he barely even flexed his knees despite 6 ft, twf
That's impressive I guess, but why use goofy fake boulders like that? Actual rocks that size would be at least 500kg.
Because it’s a show for normies they probably don’t even register 50kg is not a lot of weight
Is not when you lift 20 reps but holding it for two fucking hours is brutal. You wouldnt know you fucking larper
for dramatic effect
New episode released???
2/21
I normally hate television, but this is great. I just wish there was an American version. I think I should start doing MMA and CrossFit...
Also pushing the100 kg boulder up the slope repeatedly was fucking insane, I want to do that as a workout, how hard is it really?
The huge roidchud didn't even lasted 30 minutes, really makes you think
wait. the giant fucking dude is a chud?
are you new here anon
sad the girl lost, she was very cute
Wrestlefu losing in the boat task and stuntwomanfu losing in the rope climb made me really sad bros 🙁
>he unironically expected women to be able to compete physically with men
where in my post did I say that you twat?
I’m only up to episode six, they haven’t revealed the 5 returning players yet. Digging the show, my only complaint is the editing. I’d like to see an all women version of this show.
Reality shows are 99% editing so what you're saying doesn't really make sense.
He is not wrong though. Showing one moment 4-5 times with "Aw!.." sound gets old very fast. This is the only major negative thing about this show.
What this guy

>Me girl
>Me strong
>Guys don't even go all-out
>Pin the girls ezpz, basically ragdolls
That MMA guy just easily doing knee-on-belly on the roidchud woman while he apologised to her was absolute kino.
I liked the 'zip it' he kept doing
>female spectators screaming for her to beat him
>he effortlessly controls her
>crickets
>*zip it* motion over his mouth
>'omg what's with this guy' 'i feel so scared and threatened' 'that's sexist'
netflix moment
The guy had actual grappling skills.
I was surprised by some of the picks, some of them made no sense
This show has got me into musclefu steroid girls. Their voices are hot af.
Any other IST approved tv shows?
probably like a few minutes before I get fucking bored
that stone is fake as shit, get a real stone and lift it
Probably 24 hours or so. I'd win this show so easily if I was on it.
>THE BOULDER HAS NO TIME TO ANSWER YOUR SILLY QUESTIONS
Wonder what skeleton racers workout routine looks like.
The roid guy sweats a lot. Why does that happen? Every other guy was roiding too, but they didn't sweat as much
I noticed that too, in the boat push and stone hold, man was just dripping like he was in a sauna
The more muscle you have the more lactic acid buildup you get and more energy you have to use, etc. There was a 90s WSM who came close to winning but had bodybuilding tier arms. It was to his disadvantage because they build up more pain to where you can't do anything
As another fellow fattie, i hope the strongman car salesman ends up winning to justify my lifestyle
this lmao
I literally only lift to justify being such a fatass
>No Korean musclefu gf

Doesn't make the moron less of a moron. 100 contestants, 1 black, and guess who is the only one to behave like an unsportsmanlike animal...
Nah the Olympic skier who beat the zombie guy after ref stoppage and decided to showboat (twice) was a moron too
if they weren't trying to hide it, the cuts wouldn't have occurred all at the exact same time, there would have been at least one slow mo, they would have included dialogue about it, and they would have interviewed both about it
my bro it's not like they completely cut it from the show, they weren't trying to hide it
he jumped into the torch despite there being an entire human already there
it was bizzarre, but I suppose I get it, when you're putting your all you're not as rational.
I think he was hoping the asian guy to fumble it
I have a fucked up neck that doesn't bend very much so I doubt I could hold it up there very long.
I would tell him to shrug
>the average boulder lifter
Haha!
>2 Hours
this felt so unreal, same with the boat, no way that the first part took them less than 2 minutes
When you're a massive roided out Korean car salesman, it's not hard to move boats
I weigh a little over 50 kg, what do you think?
The other guy did super well considering he is not a bloat lord.
Wonder whats the workout routine like of the guy that got second.
That can't be good for ur back
So these guys are real life Over the Shoulder Boulder Holders?
Im not going to lie this show wasnt doing it for me until the ship event, that looked beyond fucking brutal.
yun sung bin looks like a monster. impressive bro
only because most of these retards were obsessed with pulling from the rope, the first team did it much faster by having people push from the oars
the ship was the best part, the sand-bridge part almost had me sleeping
Totally organic thread
koreans mog usa hard
