it's not as big of a deal as you think.

It'll maybe give you an extra pound or two a year of muscle, it's not significant. If you are getting at least some of your protein from animal sources, there's absolutely no problem.

the premise of the video is wrong you moronic frick, the fact that you don't see it shows how much of a moron you are.

If you take 1g of plant vs 1g of animal, there's a difference. When you take the aggregate of someone's diet that has both plant and animal sources, there are pretty much no differences.

Once you've established your daily requirement of essential aminos, it doesn't really matter what the protein source is to promote a positive nitrogen balance you absolute dumb motherfrick.

plant protein is useless, vegans btfo, eat more meat

So all I get from this video is some proteins from some foods SUPPOSEDLY ALLEGEDLY absorb SLIGHTLY better than others and have more amino acids, so I would just eat slightly more protein from plant foods, because the difference is negligible, and just eat a wider variety of plant foods and make sure I eat the ones that complete each other in terms of amino acid profile?

The video shows these vague numbers next to different foods, but EVEN the foods that are labeled as "low quality proteins" according the video would only require I eat 4x as much to get the same "quality" whatever that means, which still isn't bad. If I eat the right plant foods I can easily eat 200 grams of protein in one day.

        >NONE of these countries are getting enough protein
well b***h they didn't ask or study me, just a bunch of random people from the whole world. They never knocked on my door so I guess the whole damn thing is bullshit right?

        Wow the video even says
        >"They could just add another scoop of onions protein powder a day"
So is the solution "just eat more protein"?
        That simple?

a lot of nutrition information on plants, especially protein from plants and things like anti nutrients, is obtained by evaluating the raw plant, not when it's cooked.

So you get morons that don't understand anything about biochemistry thinking they can extrapolate any kind of information from studies that are fundamentally wrong.

Don't you also get a lot of weird people assuming that just because there are a small amount of anti-nutrients that the whole entire meal is ruined?

That plant vs meat and eggs side by side comparison is bullshit. The vegan plate of food is very small. a lot of the calories are also coming from the peanut oil in the peanut butter and the sugar from the jelly. Personally my meals as a conservative vegan big boy are godzilla sized compared to this and much more balanced as in I'm not putting shitty high sugar junk food in my meals and I'm eating not eating 1/4 cup of lentils like a weak idiot, I'm eating like 4 cans of beans in one meal. This is some goofy silly shit.

Incomplete proteins are useless. Most plant proteins are incomplete.
You can pair incomplete proteins up to make complete proteins. Stuff like rice+ beans or oats+peanuts

      >Incomplete proteins are useless. Most plant proteins are incomplete.
      >You can pair incomplete proteins up to make complete proteins. Stuff like rice+ beans or oats+peanuts
Yea so I eat a wide variety of plant foods and basically get all my proteins so plant proteins are actually really great if you do it right.

Not useless just not optimal. You have to eat several different plants in order to get what a steak/chicken/fish would get you.

if you eat 2 servings of animal protein a day and make up the rest in plant protein, you will likely not see any difference in muscle growth if you replaced all that plant protein with animal protein.

You'd also live longer and be healthier overall
