Be in lunch room.Coworkers are eating pic related. They start talking about how it's better for the environment and meat is bad stuff....

I'm just enjoying my chicken and potatoes (which I made at home)

Asking me how I feel about the vegan option. I just say , well good for vegans and change the subject. Don't give my opinion about it.

The eat the bugs meme is becoming slowly reality ffs.

If vegcucks are so scared of meat, why are they so desperately trying to replicate its taste with söy products?

I don't know. But in the conversation they said they love the taste of meat but don't like the animals to suffer or die for just consumption.

Then all is well, these are the kind of losers who should be eating plants.
Animals should not have to die to satisfy the taste buds of morons, if they must die it should be in the service of gains or some other higher ideal, like prayer for a rain that will wash away the scum and the punks

Yea I get that but the animals will die regardless. Frickers want to make meat a luxury good for normal folk and praise the frickin bug protein.

I mean what about those Gus in a fufkin 3rd world country or Asia . They certainly don't care.

because they want the market of people that still eats meat. A way to attract them, I think, is to try and mimic the taste of meat into their meatless, insipid and terrible products.

I have this buddy, probably one of my closest friends and he was never inclined to any veg diet or anything until he met his current gf. He has slowly transitioned to a vegetarian diet and only eats meat when he's not around her but I'm sure he'll go full on vegetarian sooner or later. His gf looks malnourished as frick, visible upper ribcage and a complete flat board, literally a stick. It's disgusting.

Don't tell them about all the acres of rainforest being cleared to get the shitty palm oils they put in that

I influence people with my example. I look better than anyone they could possibly interact with. I make it very clear I eat a pound of meat every day, and I will never stop.

Its not vegetarians who eat this crap btw. Its normie pseudo-veggies who cant miss their meat-flavoured junk, not knowing that the processed stuff they normally buy is no better/worse

I sympathize with the not wanting to kill animals part, especially for cows and swine. They are intelligent animals and are aware of their doom before being slaughtered for our consumption. It's morally no different than taking a bunch of mentally slow people who happened to have tasty meat and killing them for it. It's wholly selfish and sinful.

The entire animal world literally eats other animals alive. We were made to eat them.

    Re: the animal cruelty argument.
I just explain to them that I personally don't feel good about the agro-industrial complex either, and that I buy my meat products from ethical farms, and then I tell them that my long-term goal is to own my own small homestead where I will care and raise my own poultry and dairy, and will have a more symbiotic and appreciative relationships with the animals who provide me for food. Usually they get that, and understand we're all rats and victims in the system, and if we all had a choice, I'm sure we would all just have less, but enough to care for ourselves and our own. Just a small flock of chickens and ducks, a turkey, and miniature dairy cow would be enough for most, and more ethical, as well as produce less waste.

We have to remember the industry is like this because it removes the means of producing our own food, and if we could all have our own means, the planet would be better off.
It accuses the consumer, but at the heart of it, it is the industry that over-produces and over-cultures. If it was just me raising a few chickens for my family, then I would surely know when to stop, and when I would generate too much waste etc...

It's us against them, and dividing people and victim-blaming people who have been shackled to supermarket consumption is not exactly the way to solve this. We need to go back to local, individual farming/husbandry and self-sustainability.
