I go to bed around 9pm and wake up at 6am to hit the home gym. Just start doing something once. Do it again. Now you're starting to form positive habits.
What a larp
Somebody lives their life different from mine. Must be making it up.
you can't "sleep early" to fix a sleep schedule. you force yourself to wake up when you don't want to 3 times in a row. that's it. that's all it takes.
You can also just skip sleeping for one day, sucks less for me
Good old hard reset, works every time, but if you try to bail halfway through, you're absolutely fricked and will be even more ruined.
You'll be fricked for a few days, it's not something to go into lightly.
Did this a couple of weeks ago and ended up sleeping 16 hours straight afterwards, which reset the reset
I do that. It's fricking horrible but it always works.
>just be urself bro
that's actually the opposite advice. you being yourself is you being a degenerate staying up until god awful hours doing literally nothing every night
>you force yourself to wake up when you don't want to 3 times in a row
>Fix your sleep schedule with this one simple trick, undiscliplined coping homosexuals hate him
It really is the way, people just refuse to see the obvious. You can't force yourself to fall asleep, but you sure can force yourself to get out of bed in the morning.
Just start drinking alcohol at 5pm and don't stop til you're ready for bed, that'll get you right sorted.
When I do that I go to bed 7 AM, do not recommend.
go buy benedryl and or melatonin
8:50 pm here. Goodnight OP.
I found it was my allergies keeping me up so I vacuum daily and do a saline nasal rinse every night.
>set alarm early at the same time every single day
>after waking up go outside and do some light workout like some bodyweight stuff or a bit of running, jumping rope etc.
>(very important) get sunlight in your eyes (dont look at the sun, just being out is enough even if it is cloudy)
>no it does not work if you are behind a window, wear sunglasses etc
>take as cold a shower as you can when you come back (lukewarm at the hottest)
>if you wish, consume caffeine in moderate doses about 90 minutes from waking
>also optional to eat something early
there you go. if you want sources you are free to watch andrew huberman on youtube, he sourced everything I said here in different podcasts.
oh and I forgot, very important
>do not reach for your phone first thing in the morning. just get out of bed and you can use it when you come back from earlier, shouldnt take you more than half an hour anyway
I have to use my phone because i send a good morning message to my mom and dad
sir, have you tried not redeeming? you do not HAVE to do anythin btw, you can send the text 30 min later too.
Based Huberman enjoyer
I hate his soulless psycho eyes.
>set alarm early at the same time every single day
>do not reach for your phone first thing in the morning
My alarm is on my phone THOUGH.
Why does everyone feel like they need to get up early? I had to get up at 6 am everyday when I still went to school and I dreaded every morning. These days, I get up at 11 am and go to sleep at 3-4 am. When I go to the gym at midnight, it's completely empty, so I never have to wait and I can train without a mask.
You're not gonna be more productive just by getting up early if you've never been an early bird to begin with.
Believe it or not but some people have things to do when they get up other than go to the gym, play vidya and continue getting rejected on tinder after seeing your face.
Tell me all about it, I'm a last year PhD student with 24/7 lab access.
Frick, I'm on the same boat
just go to sleep moron.
get a job you pussy
I will never slave in brown shit.
Go camping. Turn your phone off and store it in a pocket you won't touch, only for emergencies. Let your body adjust within a day or two to waking up with the sun.
72 hours outside and you'll be fixed.
Vitamin d3 fixed it for me. Actually feel tired around 10 now. Wake up at 6 every morning no alarm.
Honestly, Anon, if you can't pull an all-nighter your next best option is to force yourself to wake up at the same time.
We, humans, are evolved to occasionally stay up a bit longer e.g. when hunting prey or staying on patrol, but what all humans in the wild have in common is a similar wake-up time, in nature that would be during the sunrise i.e. 4 - 7 am.
it takes 10 to 15 days to fully adapt to your new sleep schedule, you could do it in a week but judging by how fricked yours is 2 weeks might be a more realistic goal.
Also, get a sleeping mask, at this point, I almost fall asleep instantly after putting it on.
Anyone else find that a couple pieces of chocolate helps them get to sleep? Like if I can’t sleep I’ll have a couple fun size and be asleep in 15 min (I don’t have diabetes).
I was going to bed at 8am until recently and it was causing me to miss tutorials and lectures. Here’s what helped me:
> Got a job where I had to wake up early helped give me a reason not to sleep in.
>Replaced coffee with black tea in the morning which helped me get out of bed (no more sleep inertia)
>Forced myself to eat as soon as I woke up despite being a fat frick who needs to cut not having an appetite for anything until midday. This helps set your internal clock and will get you waking up automatically at the right time.
>Similarly don’t eat too soon before going to bed. Only exception I can think of is if you’re in a fasted state and your body is producing hormones designed to keep you awake and alert. You may want to eat then.
>Ideally don’t lift or run too soon as well but if you’re schedule doesn’t allow it like it doesn’t for me then it’s going to be a bit harder.
melatonin saves me. get the smaller dose, 3mg works well for me.
If your moronic body wakes you up at 3 AM and cant get back to sleep, the best thing is to just stay up until 9-10 PM and then sleep all you need
Kinda comforting knowing im never the only person awake at 4am
I have the same cheek marks this guy showed up with in second season. Only recently found out they're lifelong sleep deprivation marks
What if they did an episode where Homelander was actually pretty chill and nice to everyone and then the boys were the ones who were the psychopathic douchebags
That would be pretty cool I think
>What if they did an episode where discount psycho superman acted more like superman and his enemies were bad guys?
...Anon idk how to tell you this...
>been awake for 40 hours
>mind is tired but body doesn't want to stop MOOVING
>12:30AM walk around the neighbourhood
Sorry to hear that, meng. You're like the only guy in the world I would actually recommend medical grade sleeping pills to.
If you are struggling to fix your sleep schedule or stay up for days on end, I found a solution and it barely takes any effort to do. If you press the power button on your computer, the computer will turn off. Then you walk away from the computer and go to sleep. Just press the button it will be okay you can turn on the computer tomorrow and (mostly) everything will still be there.
i did this and now everything is gone. the whole fricking drive is gone...
One word you dumbass.
M E L A T O N I N
Stay awake for two days then set an alarm for the time you want to wake up. Go to bed 8 hours before you want to wake up.
Never allow yourself to sleep in bc it'll unironically frick with your sleep schedule
That dumb show was such a waste of a good concept (a narrative about a group of humans who hunt superheroes figuring out ways to kill them in an extremely gory fashion in a world controlled by the propaganda/marketing israelite) for the purpose of pushing another set of "messages" such as "white men racist", "every villain is white", "women strong", "white man hate gay". Do a pullup for every time a black character grunts/complains/experiences "racism" from a white character, big back within 3 seasons.
I like the show, I would prefer if the regular people figured out ways to kill op superheros without getting powers themselves. But I especially like the way media and large coorporations are portrayed, like how vaught will support any mainstream message to appease the masses, and homelander is probably the most interesting villain I've seen in a while.
I didn't really notice any of the anti-white stuff you mention? There are white and black people who are villains and heroes (most of the boys are white)
Buy modafinil, it helps me to cope with my erratic sleep schedule. I'll sleep for 2-4 hours, wake up tired and wracked with fatigue, pop a pill and in ten minutes I'm a different man. Sure you'll have to pay the sleep debt by sleeping 12 hours after a day or two of this but that's alright
Go to sleep at 4 am but wake up after 4 hours of sleep. It'll make the day bearable but you'll still be tired enough to sleep once it's time.
Hardest part is getting up after only 4 hours of sleep but if you've got energy drinks and things to do it's fine.
its not about what time you fall asleep, its about what time you rise
I found reducing the amount of dust in my room helped.
I wish I could stay up till 4. I go to bed around 2 if given the chance. Being a night owl is suffering.
Eventually I will get a fully remote job and will stay up and sleep in as much as I want.
Is 6.5 hours sleep enough bros
Yes. Gives you more time to succeed as Aristotle famously said.
its psychological, ur awake the same amount of hours whys it matter when they are?
just go to bed earlier
It's cutting and overtraining.
>omad
>800-1000 calories daily
>Mixed weight lifting and cardio sessions in the gym everyday
>working full time physical job
>live alone
>cook, clean, take care of the home myself
Lately I've been having less and less sleep at night. It culminated in me working a shift, going to the gym, not sleeping at all that night, and doing it all again the next day.
I felt anxious and twitchy and the feeling you get from histimines. It felt like it was my cortisol levels spiking. I just had two days off in a row were I drank myself to sleep, stayed late in bed in the morning, ate at a surplus, visited my parents, bought myself a few nice things that I wanted, and went for a walk in the park.
And now I'm feeling a bit better. Don't overdo it guys. Your cortisol will drain you. You need a break every now and then
if I go to sleep before 12pm I wake up at around 3pm and can't sleep anymore
I dont think i have slept for more than 2 straight hours in the last 15 years
>try to go to bed early even if I know I won’t sleep for a while
>brain punishes me by being unable to fall asleep altogether for 12 hours just laying there.
>can’t fall asleep most of the the next night either
>and the night after that
I’m literally going to go insane
work harder during the day so you'll feel more tired at night
Or just take sleeping pills. I hear car sickness medication also helps you sleep at night.
For me the solution was stopping crying myself to sleep thinking of her.
I still can't do it but maybe you'll have better luck
It never ends anon. You are physiologically wired to be a night owl. Some people just are.
>Imma
"Imma"? Why do people talk like moronic children? It's "I'm going to". There are 3 separate words in this phrase in normal adult English. Fricking "imma".
imma finna dab on em folx ayooo
