Please tell me exercises to relieve knee pain I cannot afford therapy right now and its getting unbearable.
It hurts mainly on the inner part, next to the kneecap (green area on picrel)

I've already stopped squatting and replaced them with leg extensions but what I need is exercises to target the knee itself and make them stronger and more resilient while also -hopefully- relieving some pain

You need to take your entire body into account. If your feet are fucked you'll feet it in your knees. If your lower back is fucked you'll feel it in your knees. If you're overweight you'll feel it in your knees etc.

this is retarded if he has an inflammation... Rest and ice the knee twice a day until the skin becomes red, this will improve the blood flow and speed up the healing. You should also stretch. Start strength training AFTER it has healed.

        >fast forward 10 years
        >still has the pain, except it go worse due to quad atrophy
Never stop training. Deload and squat, it's the best exercise for the knees. 2 weeks is the absolute maximum you could go without training and, still, this should only be done in SOME situations. Most of the time you should not stop exercising at all. Rest will not strengthen your knees, exercises done correctly, carefully and with the right load WILL.

I can't barbell back squat without pain but I can hack squat and leg press. 6'3" with long femurs just do what you can don't listen to these retards who say you must barbell squat.

Go hiking and progress to trail running.

Loading your knee in different angles and positions in a gradual way is the best thing for knee health. Stop doing unnatural lifts the body isn't made for.

What should I do if my articulations and joints crack a lot? Like sometimes I stretch and it sounds like a sack of bones. Especially in my knees where I noticed recently I stand with them sort of hyper-extended sort of like a bowleg but backwards. I can feel some lack of sturdiness in my left knee when I do leg extension machine. Like it's sort of going to buckle at some point. I tried sort of massaging it in place, trying to find a snug fit in the socket but it still feels off-kilt, like not quite there yet sensation.
    What do?

Did you grow up fat as a kid? You probably have permanently fucked knees then.

Not particularly. I do live a pretty sedentary life at the moment, but I'm around 18% bf. I have a good diet but not very mobile.
I think my knees are fine from a composition aspect but the left one seems to buckle easy, sort of like shaky, I don't have a good assured balance on it.
I'm wondering what I could do to gain some stability or confidence in it. It feels like it could give. No pain just shakiness.

yeah I might have to do that. Thanks for the pointer I didn't know exactly whom I might need to see. I feel like it needs to be strengthened and adjusted in a spot where it rests well in the socket. It's not loose per se, but sort of like flaky. I don't trust it too much, currently. I go real easy on it so as not to wreck my shit.
