Pls don't tell me 100lbs EZ bar curls for 10 reps is the average for any gym goer

I barely curl 77lbs but bench 290lbs.

    nah dude I can bench 305 and I can probably only ez curl the 90 for a clean 10 i doubt i could do 100 with strict form.

      the bicep strength standards on some website are strangely inflated, or maybe im coping and just weak but im not far from a 3pl8 bench yet i cant even curl 9O lbs for 6 reps i think

      i barbell curl 75 and bench 155 for reps. am i just a fricking compoundlet?

      why are the numbers so different?

        Curls are my favorite movement and I have an arm day.... so yeah it should be better.
        For some reason I really enjoy going to 100% failure and they respond well.
        I also do them first. I bet if you guys wanted to 100+lb curls are doable.

        my triceps are weak. Currently I am doing more bench, but on my arm day I do pushdowns to failure, ez bar lying overhead extension+ ez bar cgbp.
        Seems to be working, but I have a long ass way to go.

        Cinups and curls work the biceps in very different ways. They are both useful.

          I fell for the "hehe chinups are enough for biceps meme!" for ages and now my biceps are one of my worst bodyparts. I got close to lmao2pl8 for reps and I still had fricking 14" arms. I started actually focusing on curls and pushing progression and hey presto, my biceps are growing again. Funny how that works

          To everyone lurking ITT, please do your fricking curls if you want to have big biceps. Chinups are amazing for lats, but they're poor for biceps. Just do both so you don't end up like me

    i did 2 sets of 8 reps with 40kg ez curl bar today
    switched to 35kg for the last set cause too tired

    40kg - 88lbs
    35kg - 77lbs

    not far off mate
