Poop problem

Hello i have been stuck with a pooping problem for quite a while. its always greasy and very smelly like called steatorrhea. either comes out easily or hardly here what i tried so far:

>blood test to rules out various disease
>intestinal and abdominal ultrasound
>body scan
>gluten free for 2 weeks
>wheat free for 2 weeks
>probiotic including yogurt and kefir for 1 month
>magnesium citrate
>more water
>less water
>more fiber
>less fiber
>stool test

Nothing changed. I know that this condition began once i turned 17, does anyone know what could cause it? If nothing abnormal is shown

I'm gonna take a coloscopy in a few weeks, would that help? anyone has an idea how to fix this?

Diet:

>fruits + biscuits + juice x2
>300g of rice/pasta/veggies + 150g of meat/fish x2
>water 200cl

I had this too a few years ago, and it got progressively worse and now I have full blown diarrhea and shitting undigested food every day. Had a colonoscopy and a bunch of tests and they didn't find anything. Good luck.

Since when did you had it? Nothing triggered it?

I thought it was H.Pylori because of the low quality street found but the tests were negative. No one in my family has similar symptoms either

Since 2018 or so. I have no idea what specifically triggered it, there were a few things that could have caused it. I was smoking a lot of weed and it was generally a stressful time in my life. I also had food poisoning at some point which I think made it a lot worse. You could try checking your gallbladder or taking bile supplements. I've just given up though.

Never smoked weed and never had food poisoning in my life. I done abdominal ultrasounds i think it include the gallbladder, also a ctscan

Look up exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, could be that. Basically no way to diagnose it other than trying medication like creon or this https://www.amazon.com/Pure-Encapsulations-Pancreatic-Hypoallergenic-Supplement/dp/B00FZQBI82/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?tag=ganker-20&crid=32HGLKYB0DS5D&keywords=creon&qid=1671068628&sprefix=creon%2Caps%2C163&sr=8-5

Also go to the SIBO subreddit, they unironically have good info about that kinda stuff. You're gonna have to do a lot of research on your own if you want to fix this, traditional doctors don't know much about it and gut bacteria is one of the least understood systems in the human body.

Anything labeled "probiotic" you buy in a store is likely microbially dead. I would buy starter culture for kefir or make some sauerkraut before giving up on probiotics.

homie just eat banana and probiotic yogurt.

What about dairy? You should take glutamine to repair your gut. If it is bad bacteria it lives in your intestinal tract fissures.

I feel your pain. I too have a serious problem with shit that I have difficulty expelling and constantly aggravates me. Like you, I have tried many different remedies, but alas, all in vain. The suffering continues, as it has for years. I have even moved to more amenable climates, but still I cannot rid myself of this foul plague. That problem, of course, is israelites.

Give psyllium a try if you haven't already. It's made my normally liquid shits manageable. My gut still bothers me but it's much better.

Try 3-4 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, half a glass of water and half a lemon juice. Once or twice a day for 3 days. Then do that once to twice a week but have 1/3rd of a glass of kefir before bed.

This is what I do. Also, im noticing soda fricks up my stomach. It starts gurgling. So, dont drink soda.

    Feel better Anon!

Isnt steatorhea a sign of fat malabsorption?

What should i eat more in your opinion? Btw i don't smoke, drink alcoohol or soda if that helps

Yes it is indeed, pale stool is usually lack of bile or obstruction due to gallstones. fatty stool is usually due to not having enough lipase enzyme.

Hi anon, ive also had issues with this the last few months.

What worked for me was the "super enzymes" pills from "Now". It also contains ox bile and some other helpful stuff. Take one with every very fatty meal. The enzymes & bile are recycled as well so eventually you can probably skip taking some enzyme pills. See it as a temporary suport to get your body to normal state again. Worst case you'll have to take them once daily and you'll have perfect shits.

Also eat enough veggies, fiber is a good helper for your gut bacteria but also the firmness of your poop.

Psyllium seeds is also another great fiber source which made my poop more firm and less oily as well. Now i only need to wipe once and i have less skidmarks on the toilet bowl.

Besides that, eat clean with enough fat & protein for the gainz as usual, sleep, exercise...yada yada yada.

Also probiotics are important: organic sauerkraut, kimchi, kefir...all great stuff.

But like some anon suggested its best to make your own Kefir, its very easy because those kefir bacteria are super tough organisms, i've starved mine for more than a month without giving them any extra lactose to munch on and put them in the fridge but they're still alive those beautiful bastards.

To get rid of skidmarks, flush the toilet first anon. The wet walls prevent sticking.

I will try glut + homemad kefir (a glass a day?) + psyillium

What about water, mor eor less? tkaing 200cl atm

How do i know if its really fatty stool? Fool smell, always "rough" and stick, float a bit and looks like some ill person shit

I need to eat more fat but what would you recommend? I gave away my diet in first post, only 100-150g meat a day if i take some

Kefir is pretty forgiving but yeah start with a glass per day. Same for psyllium: 1 teaspoon in 1 big glass of water, stir it well. you'll see it will gel up a bit. Also get the organic psyllium husk because the regular one is sprayed with pesticides which will frick up your gut. Its still quite cheap even if organic normally.

I would only drink when you're thirsty or around 2 big glasses of water + 1 daily glass of water with ACV

Yeah its fatty stool, it stinks because the fat is generating stinky bacteria, ive had the EXACT 100% same symptoms as you. It's legit fatty stool.
Also my gastro specialist said everything was fine, that fooking b***h, it was clearly something wrong with my enzymes & fiber. No idea where they get these moron doctors nowadays.

I think if your shit looks pale you'll need to add some bile salts like ox bile as well, just to replenish your galbladder reserves. Your gut bacteria will recycle most of the bile after digesting and put it back in your galbladder. Also support your liver with bitter greens. Milk thistle seems to be good for liver performance people are saying, but your milage may vary of course.

Your liver produces the bile in the first place, any extra bile is stored in galbladder. Take care of these 2 incl your pancreas & stomach acid (needs to be acidic enough around 1-3 pH) because these are literally going to make you reach your fitness goals... Also 90% of dopamine & seratonine is generated in the gut so its also important for a good mood, mental clarity and focus..

Anything with probiotics. Try drinking Yakult once a day for a week and plenty of water.
Add in some pickled vegetables if you can eat them or probiotic pills.
Stomach biome seems to be fricked.

Black person, that's too short for any kind of dietary intervention, it could work if you had some allergy but not much else
for a hardcore intervention I'd go with a week of fasting, a clean carnivore diet as a base for a month, and then adding more foods as you feel like
did you take any antibiotics in a recent timefrme or live in damp conditions?

Well i tried 2 weeks gluten free then 2 week diary/lactose free, its pretty hard doing a whole month without both

No antibiotic recently or damp place, it started happened right after i finished my puberty (chest hair and no other change), haven't took antibiotic for almost 2 year between the day i got this situation and before so i doubt its the cause

I checked hormonal works (test, free t, e2, lsh, fh, prolactin, tsh, t4, t3, cortisol, cortisol after 1h) but everything fine. i didnt change my diet either

Well i think i added more water and less soda, went from 30-50cl soda 100-110 cl water to 0 soda and 200 cl water everyday

i know anon it's pretty hard but maybe it's worth the hassle, and yeah sounds related to hormonal stuff but that colonoscopy should help figure things out
what was your diet in your childhood like tho?

          similar

Its really the 50cl to 0cl soda and 100 to 200cl water that is the biggest change, and puberty too (it happened slowly, over few months little by littlle more fat stool)

You can try intermittent fasting, basically skip breakfast and only eat fat like ghee in tea/coffee.
Or feta cheese with olive oil and herbs as breakfast.
