      I think its more about not paying attention to the balance between anabolism and catabolism. Too much catabolism and you cant do anything with impact. Too much anabolism and you start drowning in your own wealth (cancer is more prevalent). Strike a balance and you will life a long and enjoyable life.

      Another case is comfortability. Being too cold or warm for too long can cause lasting harm but just the right amount and your longevity increases.

      There is no convenience without its cost.

          animal products are somewhat bioavailable compared to plant products. you had a point with grains and refined sugar, animals offer us way too much to be put on the same level.

            Probably 98% plant wholefoods. Occasionally eggs or seafood, chicken maybe once a year. No red meat literally ever, no dairy for 15 years.

              but cheeses and kefir or other milk brews really help with digestion and therefore aging
              red meat yeah it should really be a luxury
              eating a pound of beef for two days straight got me feeling miserable

                I'll concede that fermented dairy isn't bad for you per se. I just find animal milks disgusting. Coconut kefir is awesome though.

    My grandfather is 98, used to be a heavy smoker, and eats boomer gruel that’s all red meat and butter. But he still rides horses every day

    Drink plenty of water, wear moisturiser, make sure you eat some form of collagen (I recommend buying whole chicken, butchering and cooking them and making stock out of the carcass)

    Native Americans lived to 115+ regularly before the white man made them eat plants. Buffalo were so plentiful, it was easy to never resort to starvation food like plants.
