no dawg, but I don't think you'd even be asking yourself if you had my results. I started doing lat raises and my delts exploded. And I was already doing OHP a while before that
The added range of motion is probably a meme (I can't imagine there's much resistance once you get the DBs close to overhead), but the wrist position feels far more natural to me - see the pic above where xiao jun turns them from palms inward to palms outward. It pains me to see people doing lateral raises with their palms pointed at the ground.
digits
the way he's doing them in that pic keeps the head of the humerus centered and set in the socket rather than leveraging against it so I'd assume it's better exercise.
The frick? How else do you want to train the side delt, you idiot? The chickens do not dance! Some form of lateral raise is required!! The OHP is for general mass and having juicy front delts.
could be too much weight, or the position of your elbow/where your palms face could be fricking you up. Check some form videos to see if you're doing wrong.
Delts need absolutely abusive volume to grow without gear. Seated shoulder press in smith machine is great, but raises, flyes, incline bench, face pulls, wide grip lat pulldowns with long negatives, etc are all beneficial for good development.
wtf is it really a meme? I've been doing it for years..
No. It's the best way to add shoulder width. OP is just a dyel

post delts
post shoulders
Great thread.
Truly spectacular.
Lateral raises are elite
>tfw doing 20×3 lat raises with two 30 lb dumbells and still have flat shoulders
It's not fair
maybe do 3 sets of 20 instead
>30 lb dumbells
>lateral raises
yeah alright you swinging frick, not even pros go that high
DYEL detected lmao
Drop the weight and do slower less explosive reps. Cable Lateral raises are better tho imo
Genetics. Mine pop and I do 4x12 with 15s
I do Lü raises with dumbbells instead. If someone asks me what I'm doing, I tell them Lü raises, and when they say "Lu raises?" I say "No, Lü raises."
Are lu raises actually worth it or just a meme?

It's harder to perform that means it's better.

Gf asks you why you didn't put the toilet seat down.
>Loo raised
That guy in red in the background is pretty cute ngl.
it's a chink. he's juiced up to the breasts. he could be sitting on a couch and his delts would grow from watching tv

You're supposed to post barbell rows when you start these threads, anon. Not useful exercises.
You're a meme OP.
Literally the only movement the side delt does, moron
>called lateral raises
>don't work your lats
>called skull crusher
>doesn't work skull
I use lateral raises to warm/loosen up my shoulders.
Helped me recover from a shoulder injury.
COBRAAAAA!!!!
It has worked for me, Anon.
>its great, its bad, it will destroy your shoulders
what is it really?
It's good isolation for hitting central deltoids specifically. It's just a bit tricky to get right, bad form will injure you.
Don't do more than 90 degrees
Keep palms facing outward at highest point
Never lock your elbows
Do low weight cubans as a warmup to be extra safe with your rotators cuffs.
Mfers talk mad shit about lat raises until they try it and can only do 20lbs kek
>lateral raises
But they do it for free
Kek’d
>Side lat raise
>Inner elbow hurts
Weight too heavy?

????
Post your shoulders motherfricker
Deadlifts
meme thread
THE LITERAL MOST NECESSARY LIFT
EVERY SINGLE OTHER LIFT CAN BE REPLACED
IS A MEME?
Don't do shit for natties
Anything that you do you worthless sack of shit.
kek this homie thinks his shoulders get a sufficient workout from doing OHP once a week after bench. I just know you look like shit, OP
