This: and the fact that precision costs money when it comes to bulk metal. Try weighing the cheapo plates in a globogym sometime.

      coal is expensive
      iron is expensive
turning iron into steel requires time and lots of coal and then turning said steel into plates. then and shit has to be overpriced a bit so the companies can pay the workers and keep making the product(could probably do fine at 200$ tho)

I always tip the driver when my weights are delivered. He does have to carry them afterall

Imagine living in a country where the driver doesn’t get paid enough so you have to go be him your money.

Imagine not having the courtesy to give a gesture of thanks to an overburdened worker after your order put him through unnecessary levels of stress. Bugperson mentality.

It’s illegal in my country. The company should make sure the drivers get enough pay to support themselves and most companies have a fee for helping. The idea of tipping just make sure companies don’t have to pay their employees.

Every barbell has a diamond inside. It only opens to reveal the gem if you lift like a man.

Takes a bit of effort to get them to hit dimensions and weight. Sand molds are expensive, too, something on the order of $10k.
