I think we can change this test. Instead of a pull up he gets a pull down bar attached to a cable. The cable goes over a pully and the wire is attached to a manlet (possibly a noose) then he does manlet pull ups until failure and we see how many more he does

you do realize that 1/2/3/4 is a beginner's goal right? a 2x BW squat took me almost 4 years to achieve, and a 2.5x BW DL would make me one of the strongest men in my entire gym, which is by no means an easy feat. Manlets have an easier time lifting in general, this is literally fundamental level fitness knowledge
1/2/3/4 isn't a good metric even for beginners because it doesn't take into account that it's easier for fatasses and harder for regular sized people.

Any scoring system is used by non-brainlets to group members into approximately equal classes based on rating, not to point at a specific individuals with small scoring differentials and claim that one is strictly better than the other beyond all doubts. It's why in various competitive sports, the widely recognised best athlete isn't always statistically the best based on algorithmic rankings, which are often very heavily influenced by negative outlier performances (upsets) and what not.
Please finish a middle school stats course and then e-stat with your type 2.

Yeah the "strongest" by your formula's interpretation.
You're assuming that dots are a perfect representation of strength, when, for the 50th time, extreme examples with very large BW differential against a small can be illustrated, something that, again, would only pass if you presume that the ranking is accurate.
The mere fact that, at small gaps in score, different mainstream algorithms can change who the "strongest" person in the room is leaves no more arguing to be done. In short all the algos only agree when there's a relatively wide gap between the two lifters, and once it becomes smaller and smaller, the "stronger" of the two becomes more and more dependent on each algorithm itself.
But of course a middle school stat course would tell you all about this

you do realize that 1/2/3/4 is a beginner's goal right? a 2x BW squat took me almost 4 years to achieve, and a 2.5x BW DL would make me one of the strongest men in my entire gym, which is by no means an easy feat. Manlets have an easier time lifting in general, this is literally fundamental level fitness knowledge
1/2/3/4 isn't a good metric even for beginners because it doesn't take into account that it's easier for fatasses and harder for regular sized people.
.5bw/1bw/1.5/bw/2bw is a good beginners goal. That way it's the same standard for everyone that is a regular size.
Why create metrics because you're fat and can't cope. Every competition uses bodyweight as a metric. You won't enter a powerlifting competition competing against smaller people. So the only real way to translate weight between one class to another is bodyweight metrics.
If it's too hard to have a comparable 2.5bw DL. Consider not being 350lbs
I would say 0.75bw/1.25bw/1.5bw/2bw there is no shot 0.5bw ohp and 2bw dl are comprable feats

Plenty of weaklings compete too, and they're accounted for in the formula just the same. The barriers to entry for a PL meet are basically zero, unlike an Olympic sport which has very high barriers to entry. Lots of hobby lifters compete while never being competitive.

You're mixing up performance via dots/wilks and performance via totals (within individual weight classes).
To repeat what I said more clearly, if algorithmic rankings were perfect, then there wouldn't be any reason to sort individual weight classes by totals. The person with the heaviest total in a weight class could be ranked other than 1st algorithmically within his weight class. Which is obviously a testament to its imperfection.
Winning in PL is exclusively based on formula, not total. And totals are their own thing, stop trying to make them relevant in this case when they're not. Some people just want to see what the most weight ever lifted was vs who the strongest actually is. Best total isn't a guarantee of shit when the weight class has like a 10+% variance in bodyweight for the non-shws and a huge amount higher for the SHWs.

You're assuming that dots are a perfect representation of strength, when, for the 50th time, extreme examples with very large BW differential against a small can be illustrated, something that, again, would only pass if you presume that the ranking is accurate.
The mere fact that, at small gaps in score, different mainstream algorithms can change who the "strongest" person in the room is leaves no more arguing to be done. In short all the algos only agree when there's a relatively wide gap between the two lifters, and once it becomes smaller and smaller, the "stronger" of the two becomes more and more dependent on each algorithm itself.

For the record, if these "formulas'' that you don't even how they're computed were perfectly (or even decently) accurate between minute subjects, there wouldn't be any need for weight class segregation as everyone would just lift and they'd all be ranked in terms of their score.

Any scoring system is used by non-brainlets to group members into approximately equal classes based on rating, not to point at a specific individuals with small scoring differentials and claim that one is strictly better than the other beyond all doubts. It's why in various competitive sports, the widely recognised best athlete isn't always statistically the best based on algorithmic rankings, which are often very heavily influenced by negative outlier performances (upsets) and what not.
