for years I have been training in the gym, then two years ago I went to an MMA gym and fall in love, have stopped going to the gym since but I want to go back and do both, as I am only training MMA two times a week (Tuesday and Thursday).
What kind of split can you recommend me to do?
I want to build muscle as I really miss it and get some extra strength for my MMA training.
I've though of doing a classic full body workout, but I did 5x5 years ago and I would be fatigued all the time lol, I can't keep up with doing both so I'm unsure which routine I should follow.
Preferably for most hypertrophy gains.
Full body workout 5/3/1 Monday/ Wednesday and Friday?
PPL Monday/ wendes/ Friday?
Or an Upper Lower Body workout routine?
I would go with an PPL as it would be also the most fun split, the problem is, is once a week even enough?
I can't do anything at the weekends as I also have baby, so doing any sorts of sports monday-friday is the most I can do.
