    Oxinawanans experienced calorie restriction without malnutrition. This is one of the most geroprotective health interventions.
    High protein does mess with mtor and causes aging, but I want to look hot for a hundred years, not dyel. I will offset the epigenetic damage of my diet with fasting, cold and heat therapy, exercise and the longevity supplements that will only get more effective in the coming decades.

    You can’t have it all. Longevity =/= strength

    I study monitor lizards in Australia, they usually live in, for a lack of a better word, a population, and there’s always an alpha male around. This alpha male is very noticeably bigger than the other males around, and he remains the alpha for only one or a few breeding seasons. Then he quickly deteriorates and dies.

    the didn't live like this because they wanted to. They lived like this because the mainland Japanese took everything they could from them including their fishing waters. The Okinawan specific cultivar of sweet potatoes were pretty much the only things they didn't take. That's right they're not the same sweet potatoes you got, they're not even same as the purple ones. No one would live like this if you didn't force them to.
