I calculated that my daily shakes cost me about 3.5£ a day for ~75g of protein
For that price I could buy myself a sirloin steak and eat that instead of hastily swallowing fricking putrid overpriced cheese garbage.
Objections?

Buy local dumb frick
Local what? Local protein powder?
Are you fricking moronic?
You think the local farm makes protein powder you absolute idiot?
Not imported dumb fricking moron
Then stfu if you want WHEY protein and not the ONIONS garbage it's about 120£/5kg of the stuff. I quite literally live less than 2km from where they make myprotein protein powder
>myprotein protein powder
The worst protein powder.
Yeah keep buying overpriced shit like the good consoomer moron you are.
I'll keep buying gold standard with the almighty US dollar because my time is money.
Myprotein is trash buy ON at least
I bet they're made at the same plant.
Look as long as there's only WHEY listed in the ingredients and not ONIONS they're all good. Either way prices have gone too far... That shit is more expensive then actual good meat nowadays
Lol not all protein powders are created equal.
>That shit is more expensive then actual good meat nowadays
For you. I can get 5kg of Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Double Rich Chocolate for $136.75 when you're paying $142.72 for dogshit myprotein garbage.
Yeah but myprotein does all the moronic discounts and shit that brings the price down. Believe me, for whey only protein they're the cheapest over here.
The absolutely state of europoors.
This is not about me not being able to afford the gymgoyslop. It's about me considering the price of said slop too high for what it is.
I consoom it for the convenience, not the taste or price.
if you don't care about cooking meals, you don't need protein powder
I WFH so I can cook whatever... But still I can only eat so many steaks in a day
eat other meats then lol this isn't rocket science
Where do you get a steak for 4 dollars, it’s like 20 per pound here
Meant *ONIONS
And less than $10/lb if you buy bulk.
just eat ricotta cheese instead
I bought like 100kg bulk unflavored for like $110 in 2019 by abusing a coupon code bug on the MyProtein website and still have a ton left. Just travel back in time to when it was cheap, moron.
>Implying that shitty low tier protein hasn't gone bad in 3 years
It hasn’t. I keep my house at like 63-68F and the bags are unopened until I actually need them. I drink two scoops every day and have had no issues.
Literally just made a thread about a cheaper alternative, though it seems to be a very unpopular subject
What a fricking moronic solution. Jesus fricking Christ.
t. protein powder salesman
Buy powdered buttermilk in bulk
Either buy in bulk, $200 at a time in a massive order or buy eggs
Eat real food instead, chicken and eggs are not that expensive and they have lots of protein
>75g of protein from steak
>$4
What the frick. I came here to say that was stupid no way steak is that cheap but actually sirloin is protein dense as frick. It's not quite 75g, that would be like 12 ounces of steak, which would come out to around $6 for the cheaper meats. But OP has given me a justification for more steak.
>fricking putrid overpriced cheese garbage.
You could also try better protein.
>3.5£
Breh. You gotta look online for bulk shit.
I did a bit of googling and found this site. Which already seem to be about 1/2 what you're paying. I'm sure there's better deals elsewhere too.
https://www.bodybuildingwarehouse.co.uk/
Its manufactured goyslop powder. Even beef jerky is a better choice.
Just eat cottage cheese, Kvark or tvaroh
