            I'm english, we have trees everywhere if you're not an urbanfag, but I wouldn't do pullups on them.
            Branches boughs are either too high, too low, too thick to grip, too thin to bear weight, suggesting trees as gym equipment beyond climbing them is genuinely retarded.
            Climb up and back down again sure, but you aren't gonna be doing pullups on tree branches, not here anyway

          You can really focus on the full RoM and hold at the top to really get the most out of the movement. It's not that bad.

      further than that, they got big on weights, then swapped to calisthenics. Calisthenics does build muscle, but not significantly, and it's msotly just enough to keep your current muscles in shape since more mass = more work.
