What should I expect?
I'm on Day 10 of no alcohol. That was easy, except I slept a lot more than usual
On Day 3 of no caffeine or sugar. It's been pretty brutal. Have had a headache for the past 60 hours straight, though it's not as bad as it was before. Have slept 12 hours every night. Zero energy. I've also had occasional bouts of nausea, and every bowel movement thus far was diarreah
Still allowing myself nicotine, but will probably give that up in another 10 days
When do the withdrawals go away? What should I expect? I'm off from work this week, but then am back to working like 60 hour weeks as a deadline writer

I've had no coffee / caffeine for about 2 months now. The first 2-3 weeks I became incredibly depressed and like you said (2 months in) I've been sleeping a ton. Honestly might still be "normie depressed" aka have no motivation and don't want to do anything, but I know it's cause I lost my drive and am weening off an addiction. My research says it takes almost a year to be over the addiction if you're lifelong user. I've been using caffeine since my teens and am in my late twenties so I assume that's gonna be my case.
When it's all done I'll be happy about it I'm sure. I crave caffeine still but haven't caved in. It's nice to not need anything extra to get up / function.
i thought the effects of caffeine withdrawal stopped after like a week or something
Nicotine is about two weeks... Sugar is about the same

In my experience, it's easier and more effective to just quite one vice at a time. Drinking is the first one to quit, as it reduces inhibition. After a month without drinking, you tend to just drop off bad habits.
I took a break from drinking for 3 months once, a month afterwards I quit looking at porn, I also smoked way less cigarettes.
When I started drinking again, I quickly relapsed on all my bad habits.

I can easily cut sugar, but one day without coffee or caffeine it's hard. I even bought the most cheap disgusting brand of coffee but worked around it and it ended up tasting good.
