Why quit something that's beneficial for you?

It messes up your sleep, energy levels, increases stress hormone, etc

      There are many reasons

Just don't drink it an hour before you go to bed then???

half-life is six hours. If you have 3 cups of coffee at 8am, 12pm and 16pm (stopping 8 hours before bed at 12am), you still have 3/4ths of a cup in your system when you go to bed. If you also have a coffee at 8PM, you have almost a full cup worth of caffeine in your system when you go to sleep.

My sleep, energy and mood improved so much after I went off caffeine. It's not even funny how much caffeine has fricked with me for so long

I goofed the calculation. You have 1.4 cups of coffee in your system at bed time if you also have the coffee at 8pm

Not if you consume it responsibly. Just have a couple cups before noon and you're fine.

If you haven't dropped a hardcore morphine addiction don't talk to me about "discipline"

If you got addicted to morphine don't talk to me about discipline. It's common knowledge opiates are a downward spiral.

As long as you aren’t spooning in grams of sugar what’s wrong with it? Has a few health benefits and of course some negatives too. I have a cup with a tablespoon of heavy cream to hit fat macros and because I enjoy it of course.

yeah everytime i quit it just feels so good. i start seeing the beautiful parts of the world again, the air smells sweeter, everything is more interesting.

problem is caffeine is just helpful for doing literally anything important in life. i always come back to it.

For me it's insomnia. I've had it since I was a little kid. Never truly slept normal. Every now and then it gets so bad the only way to get shit done is to drink caffeine.

But it's like, everything caffeine makes you feel, it takes away from your day-to-day life, bit by bit. Until you reach a point where it's not there anymore and caffeine can't give it to you anymore. And then you quit and everything becomes magic again.

I'm gonna break free. Coffee releases an unproductive kind of rage in me and I need zyn to take the edge off. But no caffeine, no nicotine.

Time to start drinking at least the double amount of coffee I normally do. I usually only drink at work but I think its time to start drinking it at home as well.

Damb. Too much coffee is a bad feeling. But if it accelerates global warming I guess I'll drink up.

    I don't drink coffee if:

    >I'm not driving into work
only having caffeine 2/7 days is pretty good

I disagree, I was a soda brained fricked my entire life. I managed to quit soda for 5 months so far. It was and still is very difficult. However i've noticed i'm still not disciplined in other areas such as junk food and cooking. Maybe i'm just not experienced enough in them. I just want to eat healthy but everything healthy tastes like ass.

I quit caffeine for 7 months and still going strong. You can’t imagine the withdrawal symptoms I went through. I even crave it sometimes. I drank like 6 shots of espresso everyday tho. I gained some weight tho so if you are cutting don’t quit it yet
