Random Bouts of Depression

I'm a healthy and happy guy. But randomly I'll get insanely depressed for like 3 consecutive days every month.

It feels extremely physical and not mental. Is it possible it's a supplementation issue? Anything I should be taking besides Vitamin D?

Shame about the shitty tattoos and social media whoring. Even so, I would bake an entire homemade cake with strawberry frosting for her birthday, during which we both enjoy the cake with some cheap Moscato from Kroger. Then when we've both finished approximately two glasses each, I would prop one of her legs up on my lap, remove her heel, dip her big toe into the tub of leftover strawberry frosting, and suck it clean while maintaining strong eye contact. When I've finished snacking on her toe, I'd take her by the hand and lead her into the bedroom with the strawberry frosting in my other hand, where I'd gently whip her around me so I'm holding her from behind. Gently, I would kiss her neck and earlobe for a few minutes to warm her up, followed by assertively pushing her onto the bed face-down. After removing whatever underwear she may or may not be wearing, I'd kiss and lick up the back of her legs, starting from behind her knees all the way up to her anus. Then, I'd use two fingers to scoop a generous glob of strawberry frosting from the tub, whisper to her a promise that she's going to love this, then slowly start working it up inside of her butthole with my fingers. When the first glob is mostly packed inside her butthole, I'd go back for a second glob and take my sweet time repeating the process. Finally, I'd grab her wrists so as to keep her pinned down while I bury my tongue tonsil-deep into her butthole, insisting that she push the strawberry frosting out of her anus and into my mouth while I swallow as much of it as I can. This will eventually lead to her up on her knees, bucking her hips against my face while I continue servicing her butthole well after the frosting inside her is gone and she's on her way to her third...no, fourth orgasm.

Inositol is found naturally in cantaloupe, citrus fruit, and many fiber-rich foods (such as beans, brown rice, corn, sesame seeds, and wheat bran)

What kind of physical symptoms have you been having? I’ve been experiencing something similar but can’t nail down if it’s physical or mental. For days at a time I’ll feel motion sick and nauseated with depressive thoughts (though part of me wonders whether I have the thoughts because I’m feeling physically unwell). I have gotten blood tests, etc. but the doctors tell me I’m healthy and basically just shrug their shoulders while suggesting it might be some inner ear issue or “anxiety,” which I sort of wonder at since I’ve felt anxious earlier in life and not had the physical symptoms I’m currently having. Sometimes it goes away for a few days but it always comes back, usually for 3-7 days at a time.

      >What kind of physical symptoms have you been having?

Lots of stuff right now. I've been working 110 hours per week for 23 straight weeks. But am 1 week away from getting the next 6 months off.

I'm at the moment dealing with severe gastritis, and a number of other stomach related ailments. Probably deficient in a number of stuff. Chronic inflamation. Too much blue light, not enough exercise, etc.

I will say I've been constipated for a while and just took a big dumpy and am feeling better

      >Other nonsense
Sounds mental for you bro. Possibly health anxiety

        Anonymous

Probably stress related, working 110 hours a week is like 15 hours a day every day. Most people cannot physically or mentally cope with that kind of work schedule even if you get half the year off, you should probably look for a different job if you want your long term health to hold up.

You're likely experiencing an imbalance of time spent working (not necessarily job work, but in your case yes) versus relaxing. The correct balance depends on the person, and honestly I think it varies depending on the time of year and other factors too.

Alternatively, do you find that you experience the depressive symptoms only when you are not working? If that's the case then it might be as simple as needing something to fill your non-working time with. I've had issues with this when hyper-focused on work, I basically stop doing anything else, and then when confronted with free time I end up effectively depressed since I feel aimless or lonely.

OP, don't listen to other people ITT.
I'm sorry to break it to you, the probability you have a Bipolar Disorder is 99,9999999999%.
    Textbook description of Bipolar disorder.

I know, been through it myself.
I'm actually talking from theother side, from the side that has conquered this disorder.

    >It feels extremely physical and not mental.
    That's because you're wishfull thinking.
Think for One secong : Can your arm be depressed? Can your leg be depressed?
    No, that'snot how it works.

You have a Dopamine Regulation problem, that's the root cause of this depressive epsode.

Let me show you how I know this.
You probably have most of the following symptoms, WHEN you'reNOT depressed :

    - feeling happy or excited, even if things aren’t going well for you,
    - being full of new and exciting ideas,
    - moving quickly from one idea to another,
    - racing thoughts,
    - talking very quickly,
    - being more irritable than normal,
    - feeling much better about yourself than usual,
    - being easily distracted and struggle to focus on one topic,
    - not being able to sleep, or feel that you don’t want to sleep,
    - thinking you can do much more than you actually can
    - make unusual, or big decisions without thinking them through, and doing things you normally wouldn’t do which can cause problems. Such as: spending a lot of money, having casual sex with different people, using drugs or alcohol, gambling, or making unwise decisions.

If you've ever experienced (more than half of) these symptoms, you're Bipolar.
The above symptoms are for Mania. The other side/ pole of Bipolarism.

I was exactly the same as you.
It's been more than 4 years that I've been "cured" by taking meds.

Let me make this simple : GO GET DIAGNOSED.
    - BEST Case Scenario : You're not diagnosed Bipolar, and nothing changes (highly unlikely)
    - Worst Case Scenario, you are diagnosed with Bipolarism, and now you canget help. Learn about it and medication.

I'll tell you how I was before getting help.

      - I was Hypersexual. I couldn't say no to a woman wanting to have sex with me. I was a slave to my dick.
      - I used Weed smoking to cope with my brain being in overdrive
      - this is one of the Main symptom : YOu Brain is constantly in overdrive. You have new ideas popping up every 10seconds.
Might sound coolbut that's why you can't Focus , typical of ADHD / Bipolarism. (Bipolar disorder is the step up from ADHD).

      - I couldn't concentrate on things I wasn't moivated by.
      - I spent money carelessly sometimes.
      - I would sometime abandon what I was doing with my friends,to go helpsome person Ijust met 5 secondsago.
      - I would wishto have a"off switch"for my brain in overdrive
      - My mood would swing wildly if I listen to music that was either happy or sad.
      - I would talk so much and so fast, because my brain was always in overdrive.
      - I would feel on top of the world at moments
      - I would make rash and stupid decisions based on how I felt in the moment, and regret after.
      - I was the world's best procrastinator despite having tons of "ideas" of thngsI should do / work on.

In short : I was a slave to my emotions.
Dopamine would control me like a puppet master.

The overuse of Pornography, Drugs (For me Weed), Video-games, or Gambling, or whatever Dopamine-chasing activity I could find.

I would also become way more irritable and violent at times. Way more than what is normal.

In the end, it's up to you to have the balls and intelligence to realise that you are not actually like other people.

Understand this : NONE of us thought we were abnormal in any way.
Really, we Bipolar people thought that everyone were just like us.

If I would sum up What is Means to be Bipolar :
      - Your Mood is abnormal.
      - Your mood goes way higher and way lower than other people.
      - Meaning you experience emotions way more strongly that other people.
      - Some c**t call it "Being an Empath", but really I see it as being a slaveto your emotions. You have Too Much Empathy at times, so much that people can exploit your emathy easily. I bet people in the past have used your own empathy against you.

      - So your mood can go higher and lower than normal people.
      - It can also change very rapidly.
      - For me, just listening to a sad song I like made me ball my eyesout.
      - And the opposite is also true. If I listen to a song that hyped me up, I ould be way too hyped up compared to normal people.
      - This effect is so powerful, that when I wasusing headphones in public, I would bob my head, move my lips to the song and other stuff that normal people wouldn't do.
      SLAVE to my emotions.

It feels great at times. To be Bipolar.
You feel on top of the world.
      Nothing can stop you.
You are the best thing to ever exist.
      Then the mood swings.
You go from Manic (too happy) to Depressive.

      And this Depression feels unnatural.
It came from nowhere at all. It's underserved.
You're depressed but you have nothing to be depressed about.
