if you're not trolling then stop and fix your form, your back is not straight and you're going to snap city if you use more weight

The only reason he can even do this form is because he's using complete baby weight, this wouldn't work with even like 135. He should up the weight to that so he has to actually respect it.

        It works other way around.

If he tried to front squat with this form using a relevant amount of weight the bar would literally fall out of his front rack lol

What's the lowest threshold for that?

              Depends on how heavy is

                He is***
With proper front squat form the bar rests on your deltoids and you just balance it with you hands. With OPs form he's fighting against gravity. It works with this weight because it's b***h weight he could probably curl with one hand.

No offence but its really bad and the only reason you're able to even use this form is because the weight is so light that you could curl it.
Honestly you need to add more weight or you're not going to figure it out.
There's a lot more wrong than this but I'm not a coach so I'll just tell you the main issues
    >Your clean is terrible, you just cat back over and do like a reverse grip curl
    >You lean forward way too much
    >Front rack looks like it's probably unstable but I can't say for sure from this angle

It looks like the lifter is trying to apply the "don't let the knees track forward" maxim used in low-bar powershitter squats to a front squat. This is wholly inappropriate and might explain why he's hunching his back so much.

Back should be MUCH more upright. Shouldn't be leaning forward much at all during front squats. Stay upright, let the knees track forward.

Why is there tendency to lean forward in the first place? Does it allows deeper squats with lesser knee bent?

Basically. Powershitters coach the squat with "sit back, don't let the knees go forward" as queues, which works when you're talking about a low-bar squat. Letting the torso tilt forward as the hips go back is the only way to manage this, and keep a straight bar path in the low bar position.

OP's vid is basically performing a front squat with the form of a badly-done lowbar back squat.
