I don't know what the required amounts to do so are in humans but almost all artificial sweeteners have been linked to inducing glucose intolerance through changes in gut microbiome

it's because they trigger insulin by fooling your brain that you're consuming sugar, but there's no glucose for the extra insulin to grab so it goes insane

      I use a sweetener that's 25% real sugar anyway. Will this prevent my insulin from becoming D A M A G E D?

Its 140mg of caffeine plus some b vitamins and taurine. Its perfectly fine for you. There's literally nothing bad in it.

Most likely not unless you have ongoing gi health issues, or youre having a lot of other junk. The amount of sweeteners in it is relatively small.

caffeine and stuff like this should never be a dainly thing.

1-3 max per week. rule of thumb is to keep always at least a day between last one. i only drink my beloved coffe on weekends.

No. I have a shit gut with Crohns and only started having these regularly to manage consequential low energy a couple of years post diagnosis. My crohns has actually been quite good lately.

So at least in my case it doesn't seem to make anything worse.

Good on you anon. Feel better.

It's a life ruiner frankly. Lost years basically bed bound pre diagnosis, lost years and health due to steroids (currently rocking prediabetes and osteopenia thanks to them), got nerve damage from malnutrution and a gut so scarred up if i eat too many vegetables i obstruct. Spine is all fricked up too with bulged discs and osteophytes but i think that's due to lifting whilst malnourished.

Now as it's more managed and im not emotionally invested I can say it's probably one of the worst diseases possible to have that won't actually kill you necessarily.

Anyway whatever, it made me realize we live fricking short lives and you're only young and healthy for about 30 years, so have fun and don't put anything off for tomorrow because you seriously don't have it in the scheme of things.

I'm so sorry anon. Sounds terrible. At least its more managed now. I have IBS and obviously not to compare it to your condition, it causes me a lot of pain and trouble, so I can sort of sympathize. I hope your life improves in whatever small way that is possible.

      It really is not.

If you really must have any kind of sweet taste then consider using erythritol; the human body already makes some so at least it's less nefarious than the rest.

Except as said my gut is much more fragile than most and does completely fine with these. Prior to crohns and the first few years with it my 'gut diet' was pretty great. I've done probiotics since I was a kid, did kefir most of my adult life. When I was diagnosed I did carnivore, gluten free, fasting, keto, dairy free etc etc etc. Now my diet is easily the worst it has ever been for my gut according to IST morons and it's doing absolutely fine.

So my opinion is that most people here are waving their wieners in the wind pissing in their own face when they talk diet and health.

don't be a brainlet, it's got cancer causing artificial sweeteners like aspartame, not to mention its just some kind of weird carbonated fruit juice extract flavored trash. of course it's going to kill you. however, philosophically, we're all going to die anyway, right? so you might as well crack open a nice cold monster energy ultra with less than 50 calories and enjoy. after all, you'll never be as rich as andrew tate, or frick as many women as him, and you'll never be able to afford a bugatti, but at least you can enjoy a drink that allows you to experience what it might taste like to be him.

No. It can ALTER your gut but there is no proof that in itself is destructive. Everything you eat and drink alters your gut. If you're really that worried then you should stop eating processed foods and stop consuming alcohol. Return to monkey.
