Best routine for beginners for aesthetics

It's good, lots of volume for a natty, did it for a while without the legs (did my own shit on leg day) and saw some results pretty quick am a skinnyfat fatass though so running a lower volume version while cutting.
Oh and it takes a bit longer to complete, it usually took me 1&1/2 hours to do so.

Meant to type "running a lower volume version right now while cutting".
      The full version is great.

It's recommended to run it as Pull - Push and you only deadlift once per week for one set of AMRAP, deadlift is an aferthought in this routine.

      >Also 16 sets of curls per week? Why?
      Because it's a good program

I respect the honesty but you gotta understand that a skinnyfat doesn't get to decide what's a good program.

I dont know much about PPL but it seems like having your deads and squats back to back is suboptimal. It could be clearer on working up to the working set of deadlifts. Two lifters following this program without additional input could have vastly different volume on deads. Also 16 sets of curls per week? Why?

seems crazy to me but if you say so. ive never really done a hypertrophy specific program

I'm an idiot though, I'm the guy that didn't do leg day, it's why I thought diddlylift was only done once a week.
You had a valid point about squats and deadlift back to back, even if it's romanian deadlifts.

It's better doing full body workout, every session. Full-body workouts are best ime I think it gives more test and overall better complexion / look. I guess if you are going beast mode then maybe not. But for me it's full-body.

It's ok for beginners that can lift 6 days a week. There's room for improvement of course, you'll figure it out later.
I'd split the biceps/triceps volume in lower rep range with barbell/machine curls and dip/skullcrushers and dumbbells/cables for the higher rep range.

if you're training quads hard on monday, they'll likely won't recover for tuesday

      PPL is a brosplit

brosplit refers to one day per muscle groups. by definition, you have twice as much weekly frequency

      https://i.imgur.com/GjxhRX7.png

      Absolutely moronic vs Upper Lower.

No one needs to do 3 pushing movements. All you need is one set of BB or DB press to failure, then if you must, one set of OHP to failure, preferably done on a machine. Or do dips after your main press. Regardless, 2 pushing exercises max.

Come on, EIGHT sets of curls? JUNK volume.

And RDLs on top of regular deadlifts in the same week is superfluous. Just do a deadlift variation on Lower day.

not everyone like 1:1 sessions for legs and back, arms, etc

If you're still pushing baby weight and can recover from and progress the compounds twice a week then the rest of the lifts will do nothing for you because you can't do them hard, especially if you actually did the compounds hard.
If you're pushing decent weight you'll soon realize that nothing can be progressed twice a week and you'll stop doing this.
Hence everyone who does it looks like pic related.

I do upper lower and do rdls as an accessory to trap bar deads. I find they work well together without being redundant

8 sets of curls is a bit much but there’s a pretty good reason for doing normal curls + hammer curls if you want both the biceps and the forearms to be big

I agree with you except re curl volume. My experience is that biceps / brachialis react better to volume than intensity meaning eg 8x15 sets with 2-3 RIR is better than 2x5 sets till failure.

That's because you don't know how to calculate how much weight should be on the bar and you don't do them strict.

I'll tell you one thing, and I ain't ashamed to say it, but if you're not a powerlifter that much leg volume isn't necessary. UL is moronic for aesthetics when you get 90% of lower body results from squats and deadlifts alone

Fricking garbage way too much volume. Imagine doing Lower Monday, Upper Tuesday, one fricking day off, then repeating both workouts again.

The only thing he got correct is no more than 2 pressing movements. But doing 4 sets of squats then another exercise then another 3 sets of leg press is ridiculous. Just do 1 or 2 sets to failure and move on.

We’re talking about overhead press right? Just kidding, you outted yourself. you’re a DYEL that can only squat lmfao 2pl8 and it took you 8 months!

    moron
Do phraks for a few months until you can't progress any more. Add curls and skull crushers on a Friday because you're a meme homosexual that seems to want to. Then move on to 531 for the big lifts, do bbb for your second exercise then do 4x12 push pull ab accessories

If you don't understand any of that then you're literally a beginner and should stick to phraks and lurk more until you do

  16. 4 weeks ago

lol ah yes let me train shitty sets of 5 compopunds abd leave all the aesthetic lifts to last when im tired. Fricking spider mode every time.

Put curls and side delts first. Put calves before quads etc. Its so fricking simole but morons have this big exercise first notion that means they never grow arms over 17 fricking inches lol.

I don't care what morons in this thread say, I've gotten much better results using high volume. Especially for arms

Legs does not need as much

Meh I go for shoulders one day, 2 days break, leg day, 2 day break, back next day, 2 day break, arm day, and so on. I switch it up. Also, cardio on the break days, either 1st or 2nd day of break. I hit most of the machines working the areas that day, also abs on leg days.

dl and squat on the same day is just asking to snap your lower spine shit up family tbh
