i take them after heavy workouts -aka triceps and chest- which helps with muscle soreness. i didnt take shower after my push day once and i couldnt sleep at night due to my muscle soreness.

increased dopamine, decreased cortisol, faster recovery, decreases soreness, helps cardiovascular system for reasons???, trains mental fortitude, saves money

As others have said it's a meme. It'll certainly wake you up so there's a possible benefit if you take showers in the morning. I exercise and shower after work in the late afternoon, so I take a lukewarm shower since that feels fairly normal/relaxing (hot showers are bad for your skin).

Cold showers are good to start the day because they wake you up. I also get sick very rarely and am resistant to cold in winter. I also have nice skin.
