How do you guys cook your lentils and what do you eat with them?
My cooking as a hard-up grad student went like
Onions, mushrooms garlic, green lentils -- pressure cook 5-10 min, blend. Or tomatoes and red lentils rather than mushrooms and green, 5 minutes, blend.
Or take any ground beef recipe (chili, bolognese, ...) and use bgreen lentils -- just simmer til soft.
2 ways, either with pasta tomato onion and cheese, fry the onion and tomato then add (cooked unseasoned) lentils and pasta and stir
Or just steam up a couple veggies and some rice, cook the lentils and add curry powder for Indian style
