thyroid maxing is like adjusting the bicycle gears of your bodies metabolism

fast metabolism = ability to eat more without getting fat

you ever see those skellys who cant eat a full plate of food? its because they have slow metabolism. if your bulking you want fast metabolism so you can eat more easily. if your cutting you want fast metabolism so you have a higher calorie limit.
also gives you more energy (very noticable) and makes sleep easy. you wont need caffeine anymore

    >10min walks after every meal - cause it digests it faster and helps absorb nutrients
    >fruit/orange juice after every meal - for fructose, does something i dont understand with insulin spikes or blood sugar
    >liquid iodine supplement/cranberry juice - make thyroid go faster or something. you sweat out iodine so athletes need it

i am guessing half of this shit but its based from ray peats diet and the vertical diet, werks for me

I'm collecting these fricking pills like pokemon cards and stupid eu public health doctors can't figure out what dose do i need since every time i do a blood test i need to up the dose.
Currently at 88mg, probably need more, i'm doing cardio 2 times a week, weight lifting 4 times/week, eating as healthy as i can, but damn dropping a kg is hard as frick.
Negative side effects that i didn't have before:
    >I sweat like crazy even when going for a walk, this is horrible for my already low self esteem
    >Low energy/depression on some days, seems to be random
    >Urges to eat goyslop skyrocketed

i have dysfunctional thyroid and take the same meds. 3x50mcg + 4x75mcg per week.
      >stupid eu public health doctors can't figure out what dose do i need since every time i do a blood test i need to up the dose
your thyroid is going in the shitter. i go to my doctor every 6 months and week before that i get my blood checked. i've been on the same dosage nearly forever.
      >I sweat like crazy even when going for a walk
i wouldnt blame it on thyroid but if it's the case i've noticed that getting a bad sleep causes it. if i get 7+ hours i barely get any sweat out of me but if i get 6 or less i can be sweating inside a fricking refrigerator by simply standing.
      >Low energy/depression on some days
the tablets are supposed to keep your levels how they should be in a healthy person.
      >Urges to eat goyslop skyrocketed
that's a you thing. i buy fast food once every two weeks but i also love salad.
      >I used to lose weight fairly easy, now it's almost impossible
literally calories. you can frick off with this one.

also a big important message for you is don't ignore what doctors say about your thyroid. i know somebody who didn't know about it for a long time and they're proper fricked.
the problems only start if you don't take care of it.

Picrel is my last results (TSH is 12.1), on 75mg.
I'm diagnosed with hipo and hashimoto, doctor said that there isn't a specific diet or lifestyle for it other than being healthy, but i'm sick of it since i started with 25mg last summer and now with 88 i don't see or feel any changes.
Is there anything benefitial for me, being a specific sport or food, or something to avoid?

          >Is there anything benefitial for me, being a specific sport or food
my doctor always asks if i get any movement in my daily life at all. as long as you aren't glued to your bed you should be fine.
          >something to avoid
Iodine. that's the one thing you absolutely do not want to take in form of vitamins. it's ok to have it in your food in reasonable amount.
i once told doctor i bought a bunch of vitamins and one of them was iodine. asked her if its ok to take them and she told me to give it to my friend without a thyroid problem.

just because your thyroid is going hyper or hypo shouldn't affect you in any way as long as you take your pills that balance it.

So is Iodine good or not

      Anonymous

it's an essential trace mineral so it's good to consume food with it. But since people's iodine levels are so all over the place because of iodized salt consumption varying a lot it's not a good idea to supplement it without labs.

Unless you legitimately have insulin resistance and related metabolic disorders you SHOULDN'T be doing any kind of fasting/IF, it massively increases cortisol, lowers testosterone, lowers thyroid functioning, lowers IGF-1. Fat and disgustingly skinnyfat morons on this board that found out about in the last 1-2 years are cult-like about it, spread constant lies and insist everyone should jump straight into long fasting. If you still want to do it do 14:10, barely anyone talks about it but it has basically the same 'benefits' in regards to the metabolics of the body as longer than that.

The teeth thing happened when he was testing out eating a bunch of a certain chemical which destroyed his teeth. It was a personal experiment and he does not recommend having that, I can’t remember the exact substance

      Anonymous

found this after a quick search on RPF:
      >He lost his teeth to a wheat germ experiment. [...] Haven't seen age spots, though he has many moles and did have melanoma or a pre-cancerous lesion. I think he looks in good condition. His hair is grey and he is definitely aged in countenance, yet his skin glows and he has the musculature of a younger person, what i mean by that is though he has wrinkles, he has a healthy neck and good posture and looks in his 20's in some way that is confusing to identify.

      Another user confirms
      >Goodandevil is correct about the wheatgerm and was due to high phosphorus to calcium ratio which damaged the teeth and why he recommends higher calcium to phosphorus ratio now. - Sometimes the greatest failures turn out to be the greatest successes.

so ray might have said this in an interview. idk because i don't listen to interviews with him. he does interviews through his landline phone, and i can't stand listening to that grating audio quality for an extended period of time.
