Its good stretching. Dont listen to that horseshit witch craft talk about energies and being thankful to rocks etc
Classic close-minded materialist dismissing things he doesn’t understand
Frick off hippie homosexual. Ill read Evola but your healing crystal pyramid scheme wont fly
Yoga is nothing to do with crystals
Agreed, man. It’s also everything to do with crystals, man. I like your energy. Total vibe
If you would have read any Evola, you wouldnt talk like an absolute moron.Yoga of Power? Rings a bell?
>claims to read Evola
>shits on energy
Still, lots of Yoga Chads itt. Nice.
I see Yoga gave you the ability to put your nose closer to your own ass.
I understand you're full of shit and high on your own farts.
Dont listen to this anon
, hes a moron
Yoga is Great for allowing energy to flow better in your body. Those who dont know that everything is energy are moronic. When your bodies energy is flowing better, you have a better mental state and are more prone to thankfulness. Doesnt have to be some voodoo witchcraft shit, your body is literally a flesh machines powered by electricity. A defibrillator is all the proof in the world you need
Your mental state will improve by virtue of your body being more relaxed and happy. If your body is rigid, you will be rigid mentally, if your body is strong physically, youll be strong mentally etc. Now this is not ALWAYS the case, but its a general principle that applies to 99% of people. The word Yoga translates to 'Unity', in essence the entire point of it is to unify mind body and spirit, which it actualyl does if you allow it to. There are certain muscles and areas of my body that I honesly had NO idea I couldnt access. Once I had become aware of those places through yoga, my mind and body became more in tune and it was like a whole new level of consciousness. It sounds all hippy dippy, but Its honestly the truth. Worth a shot, keep an open mind
It's a great way to larp as someone who isn't shallow without putting any work in or actually learning anything. Like , this dude doesn't know shit but will make grills and himself think he has some extraordinary wisdom while being an absolute dumb frick.
Bruh, yoga is intense as frick.
>larp as someone who isn't shallow without putting any work in
except the hours and hours of daily physical exertion?
Yoga can be straining
>yoga is stretching
Yoga didn't even start with a physical practice, you moron.

If you want mental gains, you're better off watching Naruto to align your chakras.
that talk is about mood and focus. It's about establishing patterns. "energy" is basically sensation and emotion, and it's fine to think about. Just don't believe it has anything beyond meditative practices. It's not magic.
Also, it's more than stretching. It helps with strength and endurance.
Yoga isn't stretching.
If you want to stretch, stretch. Yoga is meant to be for meditation.
It would help improve balance also, but you can do that without yoga also
I became a private yoga instructor during college after I got inspired watching porn videos where the yoga instructor guy gropes and fricks hot yoga babes

It is a very easy system of flexibility and active breathing, which are helpful in any fitness practice. But it's mostly a system of selling a moronic lifestyle with pseudo-hindu window dressing.
sexerino
i want to grab that ass sir
In my yoga research, I’ve learned that most women do it because they think it makes them coom more intensely
I can tell you without question that it makes them lazier during sex. All that flexility, and they barely exert any effort during sexo.
It does. Yoga began from sex cults. The entire exercise is built around making you frick better.
Who is this fitness influencer, I want t build a butt like her need sauce
Physically yes.
If it helps you mentally, I've got sugar pills to sell you.

A lot of meditation, breathing exercises, and focusing on muscles while you work them.
I would also suggest trying hot yoga. I enjoy a good sweat but sometimes feels lazy just sitting in a sauna. Also, a lot of places will have “yoga sculpt” which is yoga combined with some free weight exercises to have more of a workout feel.

I've never seen a single do yoga that wasn't a total ripped chad. Yoga seems to be the best exercise there is for becoming lean and defined.
Try it and redpill yourself lazy pussy
Ignoring the shitposting aspect of this comment, he's right. It's hard to explain the benefits of yoga until you start doing it.
The best and nerdiest way I can explain it is that if life was a video game, yoga would increase almost every stat slightly.
Anyone here done yoga for strength training or fat loss? Just want to get ripped and shredded, dont care about flexibility or any of that other crap. All these yoga dudes look ripped as shit though, and its got me wondering if this is some sort of hidden gem workout routine....
At the end of the day, yoga is basically calisthenics mixed with meditation and breathing practice.
Think of 100 different variations of the plank that targets a huge variety of different muscle groups. It won't help you lift heavier, but it'll help you more easily lift what you can lift.
It's just as good for fat loss as any other exercise, though.
>yoga is basically calisthenics
I dont know about that broham. Calisthenics just seeks to replace gym weight exercises with body weight exercises, and thats about it. Sure there might be some more muscle recruitment than lifting iron at a gym, but yoga literally works deep in your smaller, less known muscles, especially the stabilizers, as most yoga is static exercise poses focusing on balance, rather than just moving weight up and down. I did calisthenics and the end result was basically the same as the gym (eg big awkward bulky muscle, when I'm trying to get more ripped and defined like a surfer). All that being said, I'm sure calisthenics would be a great supplemental routine to yoga though.
Calisthenics meaning bodyweight exercises. Maybe the word is more strength focused and restrained, at least now, by definition?
But everyone who mentioned calisthenics here probably means that: Bodyweight shit.
The physical part of "yoga", if you don't introduce elements, is just that. "Calisthenics", bodyweight, whatever.
You name a pose/movement and you can do that fricking thing without applying any other element from yoga, therefore not being yoga, and you will get that balancing muscles work and whatnot anyways.
Calisthenics doesnt make me sweat (eg probably burning mad calories) like yoga does though. Once you get good accustomed to Calisthenics it just becomes "a going through the motions" sort of lifting routine just like going to the gym.
hasanas surely kill you more than endless cycles of HIT until you drop
you lying fricking b***h hehe
but yeah HIIT is just cardio. It doesnt engage a full bodies worth of muscle while also burning calories. Yoga will also get your heart pumping just as much as HIIT if done correctly.
>Yoga will also get your heart pumping just as much as HIIT if done correctly.
it absolutely will not you clown
t. never done yoga before
t. never done a genuine HIIT routine before
HIIT jump rope, but thanks for playing.
Calisthenics doesn't seek to replace anything. It's just a type of exercise.
Holding a plank for 3 minutes is calisthenics AND yoga.
>thousands upon thousands of years of calisthenics seeks to replace gym weights and machines which are less than 100 years old
brainlet detected
Stop playing dumb, its obvious what I meant, moron.
I think it's possible but would be extremely time consuming if you count on it alone. Looped and chained routines is basically cardio when you know them by heart. Some twisted postures are quite hard on specific muscle groups but generally require you already built balance and strength to achieve them.
I started to practice in my teens so I could be biased but imo best way to learn is weekly lessons by a good teacher for a year. Then continue with other teachers and find out how they build their lessons. Or take instructor lessons if you want. But you have to have someone making sure you do it right at some point. I doubt a noob's lonely internet practice would be any good.
Most people report being absolutely drenched in sweat after just a few minutes of yoga though. Can't say personally I've experienced the same with just calisthenics, and even less so with gym weights. That being said, I'm sure you're right the best way to learn would be with an actual teacher at a class than on the internet, but I don't want to be the lone, out of shape (from a yoga perspective) dude being judged as a creeper for being in a class full of flexible chicks though lol. Maybe I could ease into yoga through the internet to get some basics down before joining a real class?
>Most people report being absolutely drenched in sweat after just a few minutes of yoga though
Totally depends on the yoga flavor. Once the cryptic little muscles and deep bigger ones are used to effort it becomes less tiring. Also, I'd advise against lonely practice because injuries and going too hard on yourself are very easy. Every class I've been to was friendly and helpful. Just don't be that awkward guy in the back there just mire those asses.
Could be doing hot yoga. Room is 90+°F (32°C) and humid.
young people outdoors working out at their own rhythm vs some out of shape, post prime b***h wearing hot leggings in a room (possibly actively warmed up on purpose for you to sweat) full of people emanating heat and following a guided routine
Who would sweat more?
Hot yoga, hot yoga is what you're looking for.
if you're deadlifting more than 3 plate you should unironically be doing yoga twice a week. it takes 5 minutes.
just do poses 3, 6, 7, 9, 10, 14, 16. do these for 30 seconds each. then if you want do them again.
i used to do just cow, dog, and cobra pose, and it fixed up my hip issues
revolved chair pose makes my pecs cramp up real bad.

Yoga was originally conceived as a way to train the mind to endure discomfort while meditating on the path to nirvana. The modern woman has co-opted it into an easy exercise form that they can feel smarmy-good about, and in practice all it amounts to now is training to endure getting fricked in odd positions.
Take the tai-chi pill. It's a martial art that confers all the same health benefits as yoga and can be used for self defense if you learn it from the right school.
If a woman wants to do yoga for reasons I don't care about that ultimately end in me being able to fold her up like a pretzel while I have my way with her then she could do it for whatever fricking reason she makes up.
did hot yoga once. was a decent core workout tbh
Without the woo-woo shit, it is a genuine way to make your body more flexible and stave off the health problems with sedentary lifestyle/lifting injuries.
If you start stretching by yourself, it is usually not as easy to do correctly. An instructor can help ease into it.
It has helped me see way more women's buttholes barely covered by see through leggings. Very motivational.
but how did they smell?
sounds hot
where can i find pics of juicy donuts visible through fabric
Just finished this dude's 25 minute yoga regimen
can confirm it burns and activates a shit ton of muscle. heart was thumping and had a pump all over my body and afterwards my posture instantly improved and realigned. so far very impressed, seems legit.
Just did that. Am sweaty mess now. Good shit.
Nice bro. I might make this a morning routine from now on. My posture has been perfect all day and I even feel a little sore in random areas I didnt know could get sore. Pretty excited.
>morning routine
Could not recommend more. Made my work days so much better when I had to commute 2h a day.
Is her posture right? Seems like her back is arched too much. How'd you fix her posture?
It's called hyperlordosis and women do it intentionally to make their ass look bigger
Does it work?
Any health issues doing that?
Compressing your spine for long lengths of time is never his
Vinyasa flow with a hot athletic yoga teacher is intense, alot of body weight holds and body control and stretching
Somehow it heals the body especially the neck and back
Why are blonde women are so boring
Why do I like boring basic girls so much
It helps you nothing. It keeps women that I hate busy and off the streets. Just like social media.
And btw bless yoga teachers for their service. Imagine dealing with stupid instagram hoes all day. God I'd kill myself.

Which type of yoga is best for weight loss? Which is best for strength/stabilizer gains?
I've been going hot yoga for a couple months now and its almost fixed my anxiety pretty crazy. Also
>Finishing class, lie down on my mat to cool down.
>Girl behind me squats down to wipe down her mat
>Sits on my face
It was like that video on the bench lol. wish she was hotter though
>I've been going hot yoga for a couple months now and its almost fixed my anxiety pretty crazy.
There's a reason why David Goggins swears by it
>Girl behind me squats down to wipe down her mat
>Sits on my face
What happened after?
I looked at her with a half smile and she just blushed and kept saying shes sorry. I couldn't tell if it was an actual accident or if it was her fetish. cause it was mine
Cut to the chase... How was the smell?
kek it smelled like pussy and sweat. made me rock hard
idk for the past 2 years or so I've had anxiety manifest in really odd ways that I'm not going to get into. But after 2 months of consistent hot yoga (3-5 times a week, alongside lifting) it's pretty much all gone. Literally like a switch was flipped, it's actually really amazing. You should try it, for the most part your not going to be talking to anyone anyways
If you had the balls as an inflexible man to join a class of flexible thots in yoga pants to do an activity that seems almost exclusively dominated by women, I'd say you're anxiety was never much of a big deal to begin with. I don't consider myself an anxious person, but even I don't know if I would have the balls to join a yoga class full of prime women.
What kinds of thoughts are preventing you from joining? What’s the worst thing that could happen?
The routine and verbal cues in this video had a profound impact on my body awareness. Each time through you learn something new. Recommend doing 4x week for a couple weeks before bailing. Got to commit to an hour of not fricking around like a moron on your phone.
Thanks. Going through it right now.
>OI G'DAY M8, WHICH WUN A' YUH c**tS WANNA DOO SUM YOGUH?
Do hot yoga instead of normal yoga.
Thread aside, I'm thinking of joining a free yoga class to meet women. Thoughts?
Wow what a great original idea. You definitely aren’t going to look like a total creep. Also the average age is closer to 40 than 20
The women I know who do yoga are not anything I'd bother with, but maybe you'll find someone who isn't a cracked pot.
Yoga is just the Indian systemized practice for the development of flexibility that was also developed by other cultures such as British callisthenics or Chinese Tai Chi. Although I think yoga certainly works better than the others it's your choice on what to do. There is a spiritual side to yoga that can help you mentally.
the pants make your butt look good
>buys legging tailor made to crawl up between her ass crack
>intentional severe lordosis behaviour

More anons should do yoga, so I'm saving this thread from the archives.
any yoga anons recommend this for a beginner trying to lose weight? Ive tried working out in the gym before and find it boring as frick. If there was some flow to it I might find it interesting enough to keep at it
Never been that interested in getting big just getting healthy
No, keep it simple for now. Run and eat less. It's literally that easy. Do yoga once you have lost the weight.
Yeah. People will tell you yoga is for "any size", but honestly having your own jelly rolls blocking your flexibility is just embarassing.
Thanks guys, ill try it for a bit but stick to basic poses for now(mostly for stretching), after a bit more research seems I need to lose a bit more weight to do a lot of the poses properly, and so its easier to hold myself up
You can still go into a class, and a good instructor will give you alternative poses that you can do as a beginner/heavy person. I'd say it's worth it just to get some good habits Yoga gives you, but it shouldn't be your primary exercise. I'd suggest going in weekly to beginner classes and learning what you can so you can apply those stretches while at home and help develop a better posture in general.
Yes, do hot yoga. I burn about 400 calories per hour, and can get my heart rate to 80-90% of max nearing the end for a short while. I'm sure youll lose more if your a fatty. But also do some sort of lifting
Do you know of a routine on Youtube that is the closest that matches your hot yoga routine?
just do any yoga flow on youtube and crank the heat up and it'll be the same dont worry
sounds intense. thanks.
Yoga is a great supplement, and if you don't care about not being able to do what others are doing, by all means dive right in. It'll help with carrying your heavy weight and relieve stress on your body.
I wouldn't suggest it for being the primary driver of weight loss, though. Do more traditional cardio until you get to a more moderate weight, then include yoga. Yoga is great, but you might not be able to get the full impact of many stretches because of your fat being in the way.
But it doesn't hurt to try it out.
used to be a boxer. now that im 36 hot yoga is all i do. as a marijuana/kratom addict its the perfect lifehack to help manage my round-the-clock substance abuse and keeps me entirely off alcohol. im 36 but i look to be in my mid-20s. my dad and brother both have MS and can barely walk. meanwhile i have beast legs from doing so much yoga. all the back pain i used to have is gone. all the neck pain is gone too. my body is a well-oiled machine. i stand upright. my hunchback-curve is completely gone i used to have tight shoulders but hot yoga helped me target the tight spots until i learned to rotate my spine correctly. you start with the lumber, the upper body is along for the ride. instead of tensing up your shoulders, you relax your shoulders and simply rotate the base of the spine while breathing out. this was such a revelation.
its the only thing that fricking works. take up this lifehack and you'll be able to get by easier. i come home from hot yoga and i dont worry about anything. just pass out. survive clown world. death will embrace me soon enough
Good for flexibility and for your joints which is important if you are lifting a long time. Good as a compliment to meditation to balance ur chi as well, if you get good you can elevate your kundalini and attain a higher form of consciousness to transcend the limits of this mortal reality, you'll need to meditate as well. Also u meet hot milfs
>t. do yoga first thing in the morning before cardio and gym in afternoon
Vague redpill on yoga as I have little time:
>Everything you think you know of yoga isn't yoga
>The primary sources for yoga are the Yoga Upanishads, the Darshana of Patanjali, the Hatha Yoga pradipika, Ghereanda Samhita, Shiva Samhita, etc. Much Sanskrit knowledge is lost
>In short, Yoga in it's true form is a series of lifestyle guidelines to transcend the everyday condition, gain mastery of oneself, and attatin a higher, spiritual state by achieving a "total surrender to god."
>Control of the physical and vital energy (prana) is part of this, but nothing like anyone here understands.
>again in short, the physical component of yoga (Hatha Yoga) as you here would have it is made up of sitting postures and breath control. (The others are abstinences, observences [meditation, though, not as anyone here knows it], withdrawal and concentration.
>The main physical pose, generally, is the Siddha-asana.
>Red-pill:
>The best modern book on the subject is Yogananda's Autobiography of a Yogi. (As a curious aside, Charlie Manson considered Yogananda his guru in the 50s and went to retreats by the organization he started before his death.)
>What you'll read in Yogananda is nothing like the nonsense yoga turned into in the 60s with Hollywood stars jetting off to cheesey hash smoking retreats, transcendental meditation, and women today strking poses meant to give other women the middle finger and speaking of 'centering their chakras'.
>My opinion is that 'yoga' was subverted by US intelligence in the 60s much like they created/promoted abstract-expressionism
>Mahesh and the heavily promoted yogi's such as Iyengar are merely frauds used to mislead/sanitize the practice for the gullible
>Yoga as it is known today, postures, are simply health and fitness exercises that evolved from fitness methods in British India that were primarily influenced by Swedish physical culturists and have no relation to the religious practices that evolved originally in the Himalayas
What about QiGong though? Indians passed down QiGong to the Chinese apparently back in the day.
Qi Gong isnt really a workout though.
So what is real yoga then? Book looks interesting btw thanks
Yoga is satanic and will make satan personally take over every aspect of your life after participating or even watching it stay away
Why?
Yeah and telling people they are going to suffer and burn for fricking stretching and thinking sure seems like a reasonable thing.
Built for BBC
Some yoga exercises are useful for things like reversing the effects of hunching over a computer all day. I think you will find a lot of athletic people do some of the yoga moves. Just take from it what you need though. I don't think it is good to go all in on yoga like some women do.
Good for flexibility and relaxation. That's about it.
Is doing a plank only good for "flexibility and relaxation", idiot? Because yoga is basically the equivalent of doing a plank for every muscle in your body. It's a workout, not a stretch, though it might stretch some muscles in each position, it is also working out and burning other muscles somewhere else simultaneously.
A nice way to stretch your hole out for your lover boy you homosexual
Frick you, fight me pussy.
Who is the attractive femboy in picrel?
Pajeet pseud shit. Just stretch like a normal person.
