I am rn. Thought at first that it would go away with enough muscle to hide it, then read it has something to do with breathing or muscle imbalances or something.
Was wondering if other anons who've dealt with it had advice.
If I'm gonna look like you after a while then that's a white pill for me
there's nothing to fix
you have muscles in between your ribs that are used for breathing
If it goes away on its own by lifting and calisthenics then I won't worry about it since that's what I'm doing anyway. Just wondering if there are any specific exercises I should add to target this problem.
Thanks for the white pill anon. I'm newer to ISTness so i needed this. Just got to my goal weight only to find out I have no muscle lol
Time for the climb out of skinnyfat
I'm too chill of a person to get in a fight but sometimes I really want to. Thought about asking my buddies to start a fight club but eh if there's no real risk then it's not real excitement, but I wouldn't want to seriously injure someone for no good reason. Too slow and retarded for marshall arts anyway.
Car accident when I just turned 19 left me with a permanently bruised ego and occasional neck pain.
Do you have anterior pelvic tilt too? If so then you will also have rib flare they usually go hand in hand. You get rid of it same way you get rid of apt. Strengthening lower back muscles, abs and glutes. I had both and rib flare is almost completely gone. I'm still working on my apt.
I did have it for most of my life but my glutes became stronger after backpacking a lot last year and that's kind of when I started noticing and trying to fix it. I focus a lot on posture and how I'm standing now since I'm on my feet all day for work... and have sciatica
Stop having body dysmorphia so you stop obsessing over your body's inconsequential genetic quirks
You know... once I started working on getting in shape, it began to terrify me to think about how bad I must have looked before. Gained 15 pounds since last october and I still think I'm a skinny freak. I must have been an absolute goblin.
Bumping because I too am cursed with an orc-like ribcage
don't worry friend WAGMI

bump i fucking hate mine and it looks like shit whenever i do pullups
Google rib flare breathing exercises. Work your core as well. The ribs stick out like that because your muscles are too weak to hold them in place.
Get your ass handed to you in physical combat or have a car accident or two. That should do it

push it in
Weak abs, fix them
I had this. just apply five minutes of continuous pressure to it and it's gone.
You don't even have to push hard.
Your core looks so weak op. What would happen if someone punched you in the stomach? You wouldn't be able to breathe for days.
